Hi, I’m Dre, the owner and founder of Heart and Sol events. I’m so happy you’re here with me! I was born and raised in San Diego, where I now reside with my three beautiful children. My mission is to oversee all the details leading up to and on your wedding day so that you, your guests, and those closest to you can enjoy all the special moments that day brings you. I’m here to support and love on you during all the crazy parts of wedding planning. Be a guest at your own wedding!!

Being fun, friendly and organized makes wedding coordination and planning so fun! I truly enjoy and love what I do. I work really well under pressure, I have no problem being the leader, making executive decisions, and also being in charge of a million moving pieces at once. I want to be on your team leading up to and on your big day. Showing up with a smile and carrying it through the evening for the bridal party and guests is something that I really value and strive to maintain at each and every event I am lucky to be a part of.

Let's really get to know each other! Together we will build your team of vendors and piece together all of the details of your wedding day. This package is for the couple who has an idea of what they want, and have started the booking and vendor management process. However, can’t seem to put your finger on where in the planning process to start putting everything together. Heart and Sol will help bring your vision to life!

This is for the hands on couple! You have planned everything but as you get closer to your big day you need professional assistance to hand everything over to and help you put all your pieces together. You have booked all your vendors and have all your decor elements but you understand the need to hand everything over. Heart and Sol will handle vendor communication, logistics, and make sure you, and your guests have an unforgettable day.

    I knew from the first phone call with Dre that I needed her as my day of coordinator. I thought I had most things covered, being type A and a planner, but she really went above and beyond what I thought was needed and made sure all bases were covered. I was not worried about a thing the day of the wedding because I knew she had made sure all boxes were checked and the peace of mind was worth it all and more! She knows how to run the show and to keep things to schedule and always kept myself and my husband in mind through all the moments of the day. She was there through set up and through the tear down. She was professional but also made me feel at ease with her friendliness and her care. I cannot recommend her enough.

    My husband and I were blown away by the service provided by Heart and Sol Events! One of the best decision that we ever made was hiring them for day of coordination. Dre made the overwhelming process of wedding planning fun, easy and truly enjoyable. She is personable, down to earth and has a true passion for what she does. Her knowledge and experience in the field shoes. Dre and her team were there for us throughout the process and we could not have done it without them! A special thank to our day of coordinator, Denies Drum! We can't even begin to explain how blessed we were to have her be a part of our day. Denise was kind, genuine and radiated this calming presence that she carried with her throughout the planning process. She was involved in every detail from leading meetings with our vendors, to ceremony site reviews and setup, and even to discussing details about hair and dresses. She was patient and took the time to understand our vision and then was able to execute that vision with grace. Denise made herself available for several meetings via phone and in person with vendors to coordinate comprehensive schedules so that everyone was on the same page. I am positive that her attention to details and her continuous open line of communication is what made things run so smoothly on our wedding day. (If something went wrong or unplanned my husband and I had absolutly no idea because the Heart and Sol team had it all under control). All of our vendors had nothing but wonderful things to say about Denise and the rest of the Heart and Sol team. All in all.... WE could not have asked for a better experience. The day was better than we could have imagined.

    I first met Dre on a wedding we were both booked as vendors at in La Jolla, CA. The wedding was one of the best planned and executed that I had ever seen and it was clear why - Dre. Dre’s clear and proactive communication leading up to the events I’ve had with her sets her apart from other planners I’ve worked with. Her attention to detail, and ability to predict problems before they arise - and the fact she already has plans around any potential problems - makes events with Dre enjoyable as a vendor - but also for everyone in attendance as there is never a moment of panic or stress at any weddings I’ve done with Dre. Highly recommend Dre if you’re looking for a planner who will care just as much about your big day as you do! (She might even even care more than you!) 10/10 recommend for any wedding in San Diego / Southern California!
