I have been officially working as a professional wedding planner since 2017. My love of all things weddings and events began at an early age. I worked at a country club in the summers before my freshman and sophomore year of college, I worked on the food and beverage staff which included being a banquet server, and can you guess which was my favorite shift to work, you guessed it, the weddings. Once I got to the point in my life where my friends were starting to get engaged and I was a bridesmaid in their weddings, I found myself taking on extra duties and wanting to be more involved that it hit me, I need to pursue being an event planner.

My sister entrusted me with the responsibility for her destination wedding in Mexico along with planning her entire bachelorette party and that is where the beginning of Lily May Events began. I am so passionate about every event I have the honor of working and nothing brings me more joy than seeing everything come to fruition from our initial meeting all the way to the first dance you share as Mr. & Mrs. I will do quite literally anything for my couples on their wedding to make it as seamless of an event as possible, I’m here for you!

    We worked with Miranda for almost 2 years for our wedding. What an absolute dream it was to work with, and get to know, Miranda!! She provided expert guidance as we planned our wedding at Scripps which involved many moving parts and bringing in all of our vendors. All of her vendor recommendations were ON POINT and she understood our vision from day 1. She made wedding planning so fun and, as a bride, I NEVER felt overwhelmed or stressed because Miranda was always 5 steps ahead - is she a mind reader? Maybe! Miranda was available everyday and always 1 text away. Her expertise came in especially during the last month of planning. She took control of everything and coordinated our vendors efficiently. She will go above and beyond for her couples and she always has such a wonderful attitude. She is a problem solver. Whenever an issue came up (like the pouring rain, or flipping 100 chairs, or the groom forgetting his vows lol), she handled it. Miranda is also extremely attentive. We had 1 guest with epilepsy and she worked with the guest and dj during reception to make sure our guest was okay when lights and lasers came on… I can go on and on. Bottom line is that you just have to work with her to know how excellent she is. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat and my husband and I MISS WORKING WITH HER!! Love love love Miranda!

    I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day, all thanks to Miranda. No idea was too grand for her; she was dedicated to turning our dreams into reality. Miranda meticulously handled every detail leading up to the event, coordinating with all our vendors and taking charge of logistics, leaving me stress-free on the big day. Not a single detail fell through the cracks, and Miranda's unwavering support was evident throughout. She checked in with me and my husband consistently, ensuring we had everything we needed. What sets her apart is her sweet and kind attitude, which remained intact even in the midst of potential stress. If she ever felt the pressure, you certainly wouldn't know it! Miranda's artistic touch extended to the stunning signage she created for our wedding. It seamlessly matched our colors and aesthetic, and we were overjoyed with the results. I can't recommend Miranda highly enough – she is the perfect person to transform your wedding dreams into a breathtaking reality.

    How do I even begin to review Miranda? She will make your vision come to life. She listens and gently guides you and helps you select the very best vendors. Day of the wedding is when she really shines. She is so organized that I did not lift a finger, and everything ran so smooth and on time (even have had some guests comment on that). It ended up raining the day of our wedding and Miranda managed to find umbrellas for all my guests so we could still have our wedding outside where we had envisioned it. Words can't express how grateful I am for her. She goes above and beyond for her couples. Hire this woman!

    My fiance and I hired Miranda for the 3 months prior to our wedding based on a friend's recommendation and are so happy we did. We already had a strong concept of what we wanted, but needed someone with expertise to help apply our ideas. We also relied on her because we were planning remotely. We appreciated the structure in the months leading up to the wedding but she really shined the week of the wedding. From our rehearsal bonfire, to the morning/afternoon pre-wedding, to the event itself she helped reduce stress in every way. She also did so while being genuine and calming - all of our wedding party and relatives enjoyed being around Miranda even as she ushered them one way and another. We highly recommend Miranda to anyone getting married!
