Mia Felt like Family
I couldn’t imagine having my wedding planned and coordinated by anyone but Mia and her team. Mia is SO organized and was very flexible when scheduling the planning meetings. She reached out to vendors and followed up quickly to help us tie down contracts. She gave the best and most honest advice, as her main goal was to have the perfect wedding for US. She always has a backup plan just in case, which takes so much stress off of the couple. She made sure to include both bride and groom in all of the decisions, and communicated in such a friendly way that it felt like I was hanging out with a friend or sister. Mia is always very professional, even when dealing with the many different personality types that a wedding may bring about. Our wedding party was in awe of how good at coordination she was, even large groups of people. She was so cool, calm, and collected throughout the day, and absolutely everything went according to timeline for us. Mia made our day feel so special, always carving out moments for us. We will always be so grateful that we chose Little Acorn Events for the best day of our lives!

As a florist in the industry, I've worked with Mia and her team many times! Each wedding, she shows up fully prepared, excited, and ready to execute an amazing day. Every single detail is carefully thought out and curated. She is also prepared for any unforeseen changes and pivots with ease and professionalism (weather, venue changes, transportation delays, etc.) My favorite part about Mia is her genuine kindness and excitement towards her couples. It is extremely evident that she absolutely adores her job, and her clients. She never ceases to impress me with her work ethic, and nailing each wedding every single time! Mia and her team go above and beyond to assist you to not only create a vision but bring it to life in ways you could not have dreamt of. I was planning a 'destination' wedding and had no contacts in Virginia and she handled everything from the beginning and brought me the best vendors and partners for the entire event. I could not have asked for more out of a wedding planner who turned into being a friend. My husband and I looked forward to our meetings with her. Additionally, day of she is such a calming presence and a delight to be around. She will be your advisor, friend, magic maker, and you will have all of your family and friends telling you she's the best - in which you will respond - I KNOW! Loved working with her and would highly recommend to any bride/groom.
