Meagan is the owner of Magnolia Collective, a planning and design team that serves NC, VA, and destination clients. We focus on inclusive events for unique couples who are excited to start their lives together and being unique and nontraditional elements to their wedding day.

We love working with multicultural couples, nontraditional spaces, and telling unique love stories. We believe that love is love and that every couple is deserving of their story being told. Our team has over 40 years of combined experience and each planner comes with a different style and skillset which allows us to match clients with the planning team that's best for them.

    As a wedding photographer in this industry, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with numerous wedding planners. I'm more than happy to state that the Magnolia team is one of my favorite's in the Raleigh area. From the timeline collaboration before the wedding to the last dance on the wedding day, the team’s commitment to creating the beautiful event for their clients truly sets them apart. From the stunning floral arrangements to the carefully chosen color palette, their attention to aesthetics and design allows me to capture the essence of the day effortlessly. Weddings can be unpredictable, but their organizational skills and ability to navigate potential challenges seamlessly creates a stress free environment not only for the couple but to the guests, family and vendor team. Meagan leads her team with grace and positivity and is such a sweet gem in the NC wedding planning scene. From this photographer's perspective, working with them is always a pleasure.

    From our first call with Magnolia Collective, we felt so relieved and excited about planning a personalized celebration of our love and the community that has supported us. Meagan, Lauren, and the rest of the team brought a high level of organization, creativity, knowledge and fun to the planning process. They are down to earth, listened to our disorganized and non-traditional vision of our wedding and brought to life a magical community-oriented event that was so personal to us and was more than we could even have dreamed. They go the extra mile, seamlessly addressing month-of, week-of, and even day-of hiccups on our end. Cherry on top: Meagan brings the fun supportive vibes we wanted on our wedding day! We were looking for a planner with deep experience with multicultural weddings, and Magnolia Collective delivered that in spades, with great established relationship with vendors (including Henna artist, local farms that grow flowers, musician that got all family members boogieing, and the list goes on). We are so grateful to Magnolia Collective for understanding our vision and helping us bring to life a personalized, relaxed, beautifully community-oriented wedding!

    We worked with Magnolia Collective for our wedding. We so enjoyed working with the MC team—they were incredibly knowledgeable about local vendors and the wedding planning process and were always happy to answer my (many!) questions over the planning year. They also provided me with a planning software that was incredibly useful for various aspects of planning (e.g., seating assignments, checklist of tasks)—the software kept me organized and on track and allowed me to easily communicate with the MC team. Lastly, the day of coordination was top notch! The day of staff executed all of our plans perfectly—I was able to be stress-free on my wedding day, and they took care of all of the details. Overall, I cannot recommend MC enough. In addition to being hardworking and knowledgeable experts in wedding planning, I found them all to be very kind and supportive.
