So nice to meet you! My name is Carina, and I'm your new wedding planning bestie! I started Raleigh Weddings after self-planning my own wedding. As much as I loved the process, I was also up until 3 AM the night before my wedding finalizing designs on my decor and straightening our ceremony chairs. My wedding day ended up being AMAZING (on 4 hours of sleep, no less!), but if I had known then what I do now, I would have had a planner. That's why I got certified in wedding planning and started my business in 2022: I want to help you soak in the joyful parts this process while I take on the heavy stuff for you.

Don't get me wrong, a big part of weddings is design: the tablescapes, the florals, the color palette. I'm a sucker for certain aesthetics (hellooo, garden weddings!) and design elements (who doesn't love a champagne wall?), but the most important thing about weddings to me is what they're meant for: to celebrate LOVE! As your planner, my priority will be you and your soon-to-be spouse, and executing a day that is authentic to both of you. I will take the utmost care to select and suggest vendors that will meet your needs, and I'll go above and beyond (and even get my hands dirty) to get it all right. Because that's what you deserve!

    We used Raleigh Weddings as our wedding coordinator for our wedding in late October ’23 and they were great! We brought Carina on about 2 months prior to the date of our wedding and she took charge and helped us during the home stretch to make our wedding day smooth, successful, and beautiful! Carina was very responsive, provided great suggestions, is very organized, and filled many of the gaps that we had during a stressful time. As one example – we started to think about having hot drinks served at our wedding and she took charge in finding a suitable vendor, getting pricing information, and coordinating their arrival. Our wedding was at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh and we live out of state, but Carina was more than willing to work with us (and stay on top of us with all of her checklists!) in our lead-up to our special day. We highly recommend using Raleigh Weddings! Thank you Carina for making our day extra special!

Carina took all the stress out of the planning process and the ceremony itself, so we were able to concentrate on what matters most: being present with the most important people in our lives, enjoying the best day of our lives.
