About this venue

Casa Cartel is a house in downtown Austin truly unlike any other. It is not only the largest house in the downtown region, but has been featured by numerous magazines. Over 6,000 sqft of open space, featuring furniture sourced from Mexico gives Casa Cartel a truly unique and welcoming feel. We have hosted countless wedding receptions, bridal showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties. Tours available upon request, come see why everyone has fallen in love with this historic mansion just minutes from downtown.

Entire House

Delightful and welcoming space, perfect for hosting any type of event or getaway.

The house is over 6,000 sqft which is the largest in the downtown region of Austin. It features five bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. A large media room downstairs which is perfect for a movie night. A dining room table large enough for the 16 guests staying at the property. Two separate outdoor areas, with the main being our courtyard featuring a gorgeous heated swimming pool.
