Located on the largest island in picturesque Casco Bay and easily accessible via ferry service from Portland and Yarmouth or by water taxi, Chebeague Island Inn offers the exciting escape of a destination wedding at a fraction of the effort for your guests. Our 21-room boutique hotel features serene and comfortable guest rooms where your guests can relax free from the distractions of TVs and phones. Our 1920s era Great Room will be a comfortably stylish spot that will entice you and your wedding party to gather throughout the weekend. For your more active guests, our property is within walking distance of a 9-hole golf course, sandy beaches, free rental bikes, and tennis courts.

Tent

Our tent is perfect for your wedding reception or larger outdoor gatherings with a breathtaking backdrop of Casco Bay.

We own our own tent with a maximum capacity of 50 people. For our larger weddings and events, we have you rent your own tent (maximum of 200 people) to give you the ability to bring your wedding vision to life from everything to your lighting, decor, color scheme or being able to see the stars under a clear-top tent. Tents are setup on our side lawn, overlooking Casco Bay. As a bonus our lawn games will be right nearby to enjoy with your meal or cocktail hour.

    It is one week ago today that we experienced the most magical vow renewal event at the Chebeague Island Inn! This would have never happened if it wasn't for Caitlyn, Glen, Matt, and Jess at the Inn. Every detail, every morsel of food, to the timing and atmosphere was simply superb!! The rooms are beautifully quaint and cozy. The views were magnificent. And, ohhhh the sunset!!! The precision in all the details was key because it was a surprise kept for a very long time. I can not express in words how grateful we are. Our weekend could not have been more perfect! We are still talking about it and how your staff made us feel like family. They really went above and beyond my expectations!! And did I mention the views!!??

    Without a doubt there is no better place for a Maine island wedding than Chebeague Island Inn. Not only is the setting beautiful, but the team at the Inn went above and beyond to help us have our dream wedding, despite having to scale down due to COVID. We are convinced that Caitlyn is the sweetest, most accommodating person in the entire Maine wedding industry. She did everything from answering our millions of questions to even setting up the arbor and ceremony space. She was extremely flexible with all of the changes that we threw her way! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed "getting away" to a quaint little island for the weekend as well as experiencing the incredible food the Inn has to offer. Everything we had was delicious and our bartender, Ryan, made sure the late night party did not disappoint. We are incredibly thankful for Caitlyn and the rest of the team at Chebeague Island Inn and cannot wait to come back and visit on our anniversary! Thank you a million times over!!!
