About this venue

We invite you to celebrate your special occasion with us surrounded by the majesty of nature. Whether a wedding ceremony or the events leading up to the big day, Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is an ideal setting. In this 13,000-acre preserve, visitors will find a gentle, pristine wilderness that dates back more than 500 years. A 2.25 mile boardwalk meanders through pine flatwoods, wet prairie, around a marsh and finally into the largest old growth Bald Cypress forest in North America. These impressive trees tower 130 feet into the sky and have a girth of 25 feet. The forest is also home to alligators, otters, white-tailed deer, red-bellied turtles and a wide variety of wading birds, songbirds, raptors, etc. Photo opportunities are available at every turn! Make your special day memorable & be surrounded by the magic of Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary! There are 3 outdoor spaces and the indoor Visitor Center lobby (100 guests) including the cafe space. • Amphitheater is along a private loop on the boardwalk (10-minute walk) and accommodates up to 40 attendees. • Patio behind Visitor Center (only after 4pm) has a 60 guest capacity. • Wet Prairie is a benched overlook off the boardwalk and is ideal for a small intimate ceremony. Available 4pm - sunset.

Room cost

$450 for 2.5 hours (+7% tax) for our 3 outdoor locations. The interior lobby and café of the Blair Visitor Center is available for rent for a 4 hour event for a special introductory price of $1,500 through Sept. 2023 and $2,500 Oct-12/31/23..
