Historic. Affordable. Unique. Cotton Gin No. 116 is a historic event venue located in Brookshire, Texas, 15 minutes west of Katy, Tx. Originally established in 1936 as a working Cotton Gin, this venue has been recently renovated into unique event space.

The ladies at the Cotton Gin No. 116 are truly amazing to work with. Not only do you get a historical venue to host an event in, you receive a stress free team to work with. Melissa and Marlene know how to take care of their clients in order to provide an amazing experience and memorable wedding!

Yes, alcohol can be brought in but must be served by a TABC bartender. No extra fees for bringing in own alcohol

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, and trained staff.

For 2022 and 2023 pricing includes 12 hours use of space. Additional set up hours are $100/hr, additional party hours are $250/hr due to an increase requirement for staffing.

In order to receive a deposit refund less $500 cancellation fee, notice must be given 9 months prior to the event. Cancellation inside of 9 months from event will forfeit all of the deposit, inside of 6 months from the event forfeiture of all deposit and 50% of fees. Forfeiture of all contracted fees if cancellation is received less than three months before the event date(s).

While our venue is fully insured, event insurance is required for any event held at our venue. We do have providers that can help with this. Cost is about $100 if you can't add to your homeowners/renters insurance
