About this venue

This 400 acre estate on the Hudson River on Lenni Lenape ancestral land, with its gently rolling hills, expansive view of the Catskills, and extraordinary sunsets, is in the heart of the Hudson Valley and only 90 minutes north of New York City. Rokeby is a designated Historic Landmark, still privately owned by the descendants of Alida Livington, for whom the house was built in 1815.

Private use of the grounds to the south and west of the main house; Full access to the front porch for your day - a great spot for your cocktail hour; Full access to the grounds for your photos with a view of the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains beyond, many handsome specimen trees, and of course old farm equipment if desired; Access to the property one day in advance for set up and the following day for clean-up.

The Bridal Suite Package

Description

All day access to one or both the Italian Room and the Red Room, each with private bath, for getting ready for the ceremony, then changing into reception clothes; Access to the grand hallway and staircase, and to the Italian Room and/or the Red Room for first look photos. $300 for one room; $500 for both.

    My husband and I are so glad that we chose to have our wedding at Rokeby. Marina was an absolute delight to work with and helped us create our perfect day. Rokeby allows for so much flexibility- we could choose where to have the ceremony, where to have the reception, whether or not to stay overnight in the mansion. We could structure our day however we wanted knowing that we had no restrictions other than what time the reception had to end. Marina's love and attachment to Rokeby shone through and transferred to us. The view cannot be beat, the grounds are gorgeous and the porch is the perfect location for cocktail hour.

    We cancelled our big wedding due to covid and we were planning to just show up at a local lake and have our wedding ceremony... that is until we saw Rokeby! Marina was very responsive and walked us around the property, which is absolutely exquisite. The grounds have several perfect ceremony locations (in front of the garden, mountain view, on the porch, in front of a very old beautiful tree) and Marina had the ceremony space set up exactly how we had asked. The experience was seamless and our guests continue to talk about how wonderful the estate is. Highly, highly recommend!
