Most people check in on Thursday or Friday and check out on Sunday or Monday, making it a relaxing wedding weekend. The island is accessible by a land bridge, creating a sense of serenity while still being close to the city. This luxurious resort is well-suited to host sunset weddings ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, destination weddings, and couples hoping to escape for their honeymoon.     We have so many reflections since our daughter’s wedding on March 30 at Grace River Island!! The place is stunning and the support before, during and after the wedding was top notch! Their recommended vendor list was extremely helpful in planning the food, music, and photography for our daughter’s special day. A big shout out to Kerrigan (Wedding Day Planner) and team for all their coordination before and during the wedding. We continue to reflect on this momentous event in our lives and thank you and everyone involved for making it perfect … and we mean PERFECT!

    Such a beautiful venue. I got non stop compliments from my guests. We stayed the whole long weekend and it was so worth it. The house is newly remodeled and can sleep 20 people. It was an amazing wedding day and weekend i would do it over 100 times!!

    We recently had our wedding at this beautiful venue . I fell in love at our first visit to check out the property and told my fiancé … this is the one !!! And it certainly was. From the moment you drive up through the gates of the beautiful driveway and see all sides surrounded by water .. I was in love! Our wedding day was amazing and the owner Mike and his wife Karen helped with vendor suggestions, and communicated with us on numerous occasions to help with any questions we had before our special day. The view was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony with sun setting behind us. Our guests could not stop saying how beautiful the venue was. We had about 72 guests. And they are still talking about the venue and our wedding. I’m so happy I found Grace River Island and so blessed to have had our wedding there . Grace River Island does not disappoint ! Thank you again Mike and Karen for all you did to have everything come together so perfectly!

    My partner and I recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at Grace River Island Resort and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. The hosts, Mike and Karen, were the kindest individuals we could have hoped for. It was evident that they were genuinely invested in ensuring our special day went flawlessly. They were absolute all-stars during the planning process, too. They were always there to answer our questions promptly, providing detailed information and guidance whenever needed. Mike and Karen were also experts when it came to setting up and planning the day. They effortlessly coordinated all the elements of our special day, ensuring that everything flowed seamlessly. We also appreciate how prepared they were for the weather. We had concerns about potential rain on our wedding day, but the hosts had thought of everything. They had umbrellas at the ready, furniture under the tent, ready to be moved at event time. And, even though we had a light sprinkle here and there, we were able to delay our ceremony just a few minutes so that chairs could be dried off on the lawn. Although we never had full rain, we ended up having our reception in the clubhouse which was a blessing with how hot it was. And afterward, we still were able to enjoy dancing and socializing on the deck and throughout the whole property. Speaking of the venue itself, it was absolutely amazing. The setting was unlike anything we had ever seen before in SW Florida. The picturesque landscapes and breathtaking views provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The various lounge areas were such a wonderful, unique feature that really made Grace River Island a unique venue. Some of our favorite memories are from spending the weekend at the house. We rented it from Friday-Sunday and had the bridal party and some friends stay with us. It provided such a fun opportunity to celebrate with our closest friends and family all weekend. After the wedding, we all even decided to take a swim which was such a cool, core memory. Grace River Island Resort offers a one-of-a-kind experience that we and our guests will cherish forever. If you're looking for an amazing and truly unique wedding venue, look no further. We highly recommend this venue to anyone seeking a memorable experience.
