About this venue
The Historic Hampton House is an iconic hotel listed on the National Registry of Historic Sites. A Green Book Hotel built in the 1950s was visited by iconic figures like Muhammad Ali, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Aretha Franklin, Sammy Davis, Jr., and old blue eyes himself, Frank Sinatra. The hotel has been restored into a rental venue, museum, and meeting space.

Yes, and we have taken steps to minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19 by requiring face masks and requiring temperature checks for all visitors before entry into buildings. We are also reducing total occupancy to limit the risk of exposure. All visitors will be provided with hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes to go through the museum with less risk. We are replacing some exhibits with “no-touch” options for access.

All children must be accompanied by an adult parent/caregiver (age 18+) when visiting the museum.
