My biggest regret was choosing this venue to have my wedding. If I can save anyone from disappointment on their big day I hope this review can help. This hotel did not have any nice backgrounds or elegant locations to take pictures, they have a long list of restrictions on things they do not allow such as customizing the dance floor, sparklers or fog machines, they charge extra for any extra touches you want to add to your big day such as charging an arm and a leg for outside catering (their food was not great which is why we wanted to bring our own). Additionally the hotel decor in itself is not elegant and slightly dated. During our rehearsal the day before we noticed water damage to the walls and dirty carpet and we had to escalate to management to have this fixed. When we selected this venue we were unaware of a lot of the restrictions and extra charges we need to cover and expenses we would need to dish out to make the place look elegant. Additionally there was a lot of miscommunication between the sales team and the actual hotel operation team leading us to believe one thing when we signed our contract only to encounter a “No you can’t do that” at every turn when we had to work with the hotel team. If you want a beautiful wedding with the glam this is not the place. There are way better venues out there that look much better with nicer staff and less restrictions such as the Marriott.
