Located just a mile from downtown Burlington, the Intervale Center's renovated 1860s Community Barn offers a convenient, rustic, and picturesque setting for your special day. Say your “I do’s” in a quaint ceremony outside on the venue’s gorgeous green grounds surrounded by stunning trees, bushes, and of course, your happy loved ones.

For the reception, there is no better place than our beloved Community Barn. The Community Barn comfortably sits 110 people and with an additional Vermont Tent Company rental, our property can accommodate up to 200 seated.

Portable PA system with Bluetooth connectivity, Electricity and limited lighting, 120 brown folding chairs and 10 rectangular 6-foot tables (seating for 60), 3 port-a-lets (1 ADA compliant) and access to one indoor bathroom in an adjacent building, Patio heaters (select months)

    I love the Intervale Center, it is so beautiful! I knew that by choosing to get married there in July, we could really cut back on our decorations and let the landscaped grounds really shine. This venue is very conveniently located to Burlington, VT, but doesn't feel like you're in a city. It feels quiet and somewhat secluded. The rental/site fee was very affordable (and what you pay goes to a good cause!) and their guide book/post-booking-brochure is really helpful. They provide tables and chairs which are probably ample if you are having a small shindig, though you will likely want to cover the tables as they are not very pretty! Or you can always rent tables and chairs at additional cost. Most of what they offer is very DIY, so get some friends together (we set up in less than an hour with our friends). Our wedding here was pretty low-key with about 40 guests, but I think this could work for more formal gatherings too. My top of mind words to describe it would be "Pretty, local, affordable".
