Conveniently located in Winterset, Iowa we are a premier event venue with 5,760 square feet of space and room to seat up to 250 guests. Situated on 4.65 acres in the heart of Madison County. Our rustic facility is the perfect choice for barn weddings near Des Moines. Our property is also just 19 minutes away from Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines. Our venue features a large, welcoming fireplace, exposed knotty pine hardwood, rustic beams, corrugated steel, and incandescent lighting that casts a warm, inviting glow. We welcome our guests to bring in the vendors of their choice. A catering room, accommodations for a band/DJ, and a bride and groom lounge are all available. We also have tables and chairs for your convenience, and shuttle service to and from certain local hotels.

    We had our absolute dream wedding at Knotty Pine Venue. We couldn’t have asked for anything better or easier. There was so much space and very accommodating for all of our vendors. Areas for the wedding party to get ready. The owner was so accommodating and very easy to work with. You will not regret booking here!!
