About this venue

One Fifth is the newest restaurant from Chef and Owner Marc Forgione, debuted Summer 2022 on the corner of 5th Avenue and East 8th Street in Greenwich Village. Restaurants at this address over the years have been in near-continuous operation since 1927. One Fifth pays homage to its former tenants and serve as a welcoming and convivial living room for the neighborhood.

The Fountain Room

With the addition of the Mews, the expanded space can accommodate up to 100 guests seated or 125 guests for a standing cocktail reception. This SEMI PRIVATE space is perfect for rehearsal dinners, birthday parties and holiday events. Curated art honoring the building’s famous residents, events, and neighborhood is hung throughout the space, and also features historical artifacts uncovered by the building’s owners
