About this venue

With History dating back to the 1850's, Ardenwood Historic Farm offers a journey back in time. The stately Patterson House, a beautiful 19th century mansion restored to its original elegance, graces the grounds at Ardenwood Historic Farm. The expansive lawns and surrounding gardens create a magical atmosphere for outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions. Your guests will enter the serene area of the farm completely cradled by trees; the biggest redwood being showcased by up-lighting along with glowing market lights hanging overhead creating the perfect outdoor ambiance. An arbor laced with wisteria in the spring serves as the backdrop to the large dance-floor, and tall New York style street lamps highlight the garden. Where History and Hospitality Tie the Knot

As your guests enter the farm, they will be follow the paved walkway to the Pool Site (where the historic pool once was) encased by towering redwood trees. We have four beautiful locations for your ceremony; the Gazbeo, the Oak Tree, the Evergreen Tree on Patterson House Lawn, or in front of the Patterson House. For your reception, their arbor laced with wisteria will serve as your backdrop for your dance floor. Lighting will be supplied by large, New York-style street lamps, market lights and uplights highliging the hostoric trees. Guests will enjoy gazing at the historic, Victorian Garden which is a refugee for over 99 species of birds and monarch butterflies. Their expansive lawns are perfect for you ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.

Included in this room:

Ceremony & Reception: Venue Rental Fee: Friday: $3,750. Saturday: $4,500. Sunday: $3,750. Rental Fee Includes: 150 White Resin Chairs for the Reception, 15 Round 60” Reception Tables, 8 Cocktail Tables, and 3 Speciality Tables, 8 Hours Total Rental Time (2 hours for set up and 1 hour for break down) and Bridal Room. Palmdale Estates Events has a mandatory catering minimum of 140 persons on a Saturday and 100 persons on a Friday or Sunday. We are offering micro-weddings for 30 guests and under. Love the idea of an outdoor ceremony, but would prefer an indoor reception? You're in luck because we also offer a Ceremony Only option!

    We've shot dozens of weddings at Ardenwood over the last few years, and we cannot recommend them enough. The grounds are beautiful and charming and the staff are friendly and helpful. Ardenwood will exceed your every expectation.

    As a photographer, I've shot at a lot of venues & Ardenwood always tops the charts There is a lot of space to move around; especially in the reception space! That's something not a lot of ballrooms and even outdoor venues offer. The spaces are also gorgeous, which is a plus for photos! But the cherry on the pie will always be the coordinators you work with; Lindsey and Claire are amazing at caring for you (and us vendors!), taking care of the details, and turning your dream into a reality. If you're thinking about Ardenwood, just book it already! :)
