Riverbend is like nothing else we've experienced - the stunning buildings, winding river and peaceful sun-dappled property is just amazing. But the venue's beauty is just the beginning! The planning team at Connecticut Wedding Group is professional magic, orchestrating every detail with laser focus and contagious enthusiasm - you can't help but smile when you're with any of them. We knew from the start that to ensure the most important day of our lives went off without a hitch there was no one but CT Wedding Group we trusted. Their reviews speak for themselves but first hand we can tell you they do them little to no justice(having been guests at weddings at their venues). Imagine our surprise when we were able to see the limitless possibilities of their newest space and how it completely shattered our reality of what a wedding day could be. We are lucky enough to say we are the first wedding booked for their newest venue and the sky is the limit. The renderings they provided were unlike anything we've seen anywhere else throughout this process. The vision of what the space can and will become has us more excited by a venue than we thought imaginable. Their attention to detail, earnest care to make our day specific to us, and their overall devotion to their craft is unrivaled. There is not stress, just excitement and its all thanks to their incredible team, and astounding venue. They preach that their 9-5 is the most important day of their clients lives and they take that seriously, and boy do they practice what they preach. CAN NOT say enough about this experience thus far, and as if that wasn't enough, their planning team make the experience simply incredible (and fool proof). This is not a diamond in the rough situation. They set a standard for what the industry should be and then deliver a thousand fold. We've only before seen the end result of their reputation as guests, and now as clients can say that words just simply fall short of the reality. This. Is. What. Dreams. Are. Made. Of.

Full disclaimer, my husband and I both work for Connecticut Wedding Group. So, you may think this post is a tad biased, but we'd have to disagree... You see at the start of our engagement we did entertain some "obligatory" research, but, this was incredibly short lived. We came to the quick conclusion, before we even got to scheduling tours, that there's simply no way we could ever put our biggest investment in anyones hands but our own planning & culinary teams. Every weekend we see our couples share their big day with all of the most important people in their lives. A moment you only get once, and our team pours their whole hearts into making every minute pure perfection. My husband was (hands down) here for the food, while I was here so I didn't need to plan my own wedding and worry about all the logistics that my brain normally can't avoid. Our guests continue to rave. It was the best day ever, and we are so deeply grateful to our team for doing what they do. Our only regret is we can't do it again and again and again.
