Named for the award-winning designer, Robert Isabell, the restaurant celebrates design and beauty through both its décor and an innovative seasonal menu designed by Chef Armando Cortes. Our sleek modern 7th-floor event space and 143-seat theater are also available for rent should you wish to have your ceremony with us. Working on events at Robert is always a pleasure. It has a striking decor and an unparalleled view of Columbus Circle and Central Park, and so we rarely need to add anything to make the room look great, and can focus purely on the more technical aspects of the event. Uniquely, it has an enormous and dramatic TV screen in the back that fits well into the decor if it's not being used, but can also be used for presentations of all kinds, and it has a nicely-balanced built-in sound system that makes our lives easier. It's not the largest of spaces, but it's very flexible and so we've still been able to cover a wide variety of events including multiple microphones, multiple TV screens, small stages, DJ's, and more. The team there is always excellent to work with, always looking to help ensure that everything fits exactly right, goes smoothly, and upholds the standards of quality that they are committed to.

Our wedding package is for a five hour event or 5.5 hours if there is an onsite wedding ceremony.

We do not have on-site parking, but there is street parking and numerous garages within walking distance from the venue.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

No, our venue is fully insured.

While there is no wedding suite nor changing room of any kind at Robert or in the Museum of Arts & Design, we are happy to assist with referrals to nearby hotels upon request.

You may arrange with the baker of your choice for a wedding cake to be delivered and there is no additional charge for the Robert staff to cut and serve your cake.

Absolutely. In the interested of personalizing your event, we welcome outside vendors, including music, florist, lighting, photography and videography. All vendors must carry the required insurance that is stipulated in our contracts.

Yes, vendor meals (e.g. for musicians, DJ, photographer, etc.) are available at $45 per person, including the chef's choice of hot entrée and non-alcoholic beverages.

Taxis are available in Columbus Circle and cars can drop off and pick up guests in front of the building on West 59th Street. In additional, MAD is located on top of the 59th Street/Columbus Circle subway station, allowing for easy access to the B, D, A, C, 1, 2, and 3 subway lines.

Parking garages are conveniently located nearby, including Champion Parking and Central Parking,

Yes, Robert works with some of the premier Kosher caterers in New York to offer the finest in Kosher food.

Robert serves contemporary American / Continental cuisines, expertly prepared by Executive Chef Gonzalo Colin.

Both elevators are wheelchair accessible and the mens' and women's restrooms have wheelchair accessible facilities.
