  • Great Food, Terrible Event Coordinator

We had our wedding here. While a beautiful venue with fantastic food there were serious short comings. Do not count on the venues "event coordinator". Alexis ghosted us for 2 weeks while being 1 month out from our date trying to iron out last minute details. And only responded to us after we complained to the restaurant's management. On the day of our wedding the manager tells us she was sick with no notice or back up venue coordinator. Essentially our wedding did not follow the timeline we established on our call with Ana the manager and Alexis. So on the day of the rehearsal we're missing our rehearsal dinner, having to explain to Luca the other manager what we wanted. Just for on the day of the event, the waitstaff is only taking food orders an hour before our end time. They also didn't come to our sweetheart table to take our order. Us having to ask them to cut the cake with 20 minutes left after paying a cake cutting fee was unacceptable. These people were 100% going to end without cutting our cake if we didn't ask. In regards to paying for the event, they took payment installments from us at the start and then arbitrarily refused to take other payments, demanding we pay the full at the end. This was not made clear in our initial meetings. There's a lot of value being able to do your ceremony in the patio room and then going upstairs for reception. The food is fantastic. Compliments to Chef Asi for his menu. It's the only reason we're giving this review 3 stars. You need your own coordinator to do their venue coordinating. Promises were made and not kept which made things very stressful. To top it off, Alexis hasn't even reached out afterwards to apologize for being a no show after promising to be present.
