About this venue

Strongwater Events is a dynamic industrial wedding venue housed in the middle of a century old warehouse in the Franklinton Arts District, just outside of downtown Columbus, OH. We have three distinct spaces all connected to each other to allow for many different sized weddings. We share the warehouse with Strongwater Food & Spirits and 400 West Rich artist studios and are extremely grateful to be a part of this thriving hub of creativity! We're located just minutes from downtown Columbus and surrounded by a vibrant community. The warehouse was originally built in 1911 and has been preserved and reimagined into the chic industrial space it is today. At Strongwater, our joy is found in helping you create unforgettable moments. Our dedicated team would love to talk about your big day!

Entire Space (Gallery, Annex, Courtyard)

The most common choice for a wedding, the full events space creates an amazing experience for both the bride and groom and their guests!

Sitting at a total of 7,900 square-feet, the entire venue is well equipped for an incredible celebration! Say your vows under the vines in our outdoor courtyard, enjoy cocktail hour in The Annex, and sit down in The Gallery to a wonderful dinner surrounded by the ones you love. After dinner, get down on the dance floor when we transform The Gallery space into party mode! We offer in-house catering or the option to bring in outside, two full bars, access to amazing vendors and more!

    Getting married at Strongwater was a dream of mine since the beginning of our relationship. And I am SO glad we had that dream come true because the team at Strongwater was simply incredible. From the great communication and answering all of my many questions, right down to our coordinator going all out dressing up to match our wedding theme - we couldn’t have asked for a better team for our day. Not to mention how stunning the location is to begin with. Highly recommend!!

    As wedding photographers we experience all different wedding venues, styles, layouts, lighting & we're here to tell you, Strongwater is without a doubt the most incredible and well-rounded space that we have gotten the chance to shoot. From the incredible staff, to the one of a kind experience...where do we even begin? The first time we ever photographed at Strongwater was back in 2018 and we were in awe of the level of service they provided to our clients. Since then, we have seen time and time and again Strongwater putting their clients first and focusing the wedding day experience on the celebration without adding stress! The staff's philosophy of valuing their clients is so effortlessly present in everything they do. As vendors, we've never been treated with such kindness...so much so that now we are grateful to call many of the staff members friends. We know we are not alone in this sentiment because our clients are always treated in this way as well! Oh, and the venue…how could we forget? We've photographed all over the state & country - there's nothing that resembles the industrial elegance + gritty texture Strongwater offers. It's as versatile as it is stunning - allowing you to dress it up or let it shine as is. When it comes to photos, the tones in the building, courtyard + surrounding areas make for the most flattering colors in images. Add in the world class staff & you have yourself the perfect venue for your celebration. There aren't enough words to tell you how much we adore being at + photographing at Strongwater!     I absolutely love working with Strongwater. Each year, I design several weddings in that space and the staff and catering team are always so friendly and helpful. I got married at Strongwater in 2016 and my family and friends still tell us how great of a time they had. Since then, I've designed weddings all over Columbus but this by far is my favorite venue. It's got all of the perfect industrial, raw charm for today's modern couples!
