About this venue

Sugar Creek Brewing Co. is a Charlotte, NC local craft brewery in the heart of the lower SouthEnd (LOSO) neighborhood. We carefully combine the watchful eye of a Trappist Monk with the technical precision of nuclear engineering to craft fresh, full-flavored beers that are immensely satisfying and intensely drinkable. Using unique combinations of aromatic yeast strains, domestic and imported hops and award-winning malt varietals, Sugar Creek infuses traditional recipes with modern tastes and techniques to create beer that nourishes both mind and body. Sugar Creek Brewing Company has a variety of private event spaces available for rental. Our warm and inviting earth tone and natural wood decor is sure to make you and your guests feel at home in our brewery.

Private Event Room & Patio

An intimate place in the heart of a busy city

Adjacent to our taproom is our 2000 sqft private event room, complete with a private outdoor patio, private bar, and overhead projector. Private events are available seven days a week, for parties as small as 20 people and as large as 250. In addition to offering a full range of our favorite beers, Sugar Creek is happy to provide food services or accommodate outside catering.

    I was from out of town and my son and now daughter-in-law wanted to have their rehearsal supper at Sugar Creek Brewing because it is a special place for them. The staff was excellent to work with and fulfilled all my requests. We were able to space the tables adequately and everyone enjoyed the food and especially the beer. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable event.

    We had a phenomenal wedding at Sugar Creek. The staff communication was excellent. They were easy to work with. Never seemed bothered by the million questions we asked. They worked well with my day of coordinator and the vendors we used. The facility was clean, the beer superb and best of all, our guests had a blast!
