Our wedding at the Ben

The Ben is an absolutely gorgeous venue! We had a three day wedding weekend planned there where we used almost every space on property! We had a welcome party on the rooftop terrace which is the two cabanas to the south of the pool, our ceremony and reception in the ballroom with cocktail hour taking over part of Spruzzo, and our farewell brunch in the studio downstairs. The employees at the hotel are so easy to work with and were accommodating throughout the weekend. We did have a few hiccups. Communication was hard with COVID as we were a postponement wedding and our contacts changed a few times. We were the first ceremony that was upstairs in the ballroom and there was an announcement that wasn't turned off at the very beginning of the ceremony. And they originally told us they could turn off the music for spruzzo for our cocktail hour and then during cocktail hour, it was never turned off and they told the planner they couldn't. We had already hired Rockwithu to have a pianist and violinist duo there. But being a new venue, there are bound to be little blips that they will work out as they have more weddings come in, and this definitely wouldn't deter me from recommending them. The food is absolutely amazing and Chef Andre is a gem. We got so many rave reviews for our dessert welcome party- complete with crepes and bite sized desserts, our reception food, and even brunch food was delicious! Riley did our block and was VERY accommodating with letting people book after the time originally allotted because our invites were delayed and with COVID people were RSVPing last minute. And Thom was our main contact post-COVID and he did everything in his power to make sure we had everything we wanted and needed for our wedding weekend! I would definitely recommend the Ben for your wedding!

My wedding was the very first ever at The Ben and WOW, we were truly blown away by how incredible it was. The venue itself is simply stunning. The ballroom overlooks the water and has indoor and outdoor space. The ceremony space on the main level has a very cool, industrial feel that went perfectly with our vibe. We had our ceremony in The Studio downstairs, cocktail hour on the pool deck and our wedding in the rooftop ballroom. I think that what put our experience so over the top was working with the amazing staff at The Ben, especially Lauren and the events staff. We worked very closely with them for 9 months planning every detail of our 160 person wedding. Being the very first wedding at the hotel, the entire staff went so far above and beyond to make our wedding absolutely perfect. I am a very type-A, detail-oriented person and no matter how many emails or calls or texts I sent, they were so incredibly patient and kind and diligent, making sure to always address all of our concerns and going above and beyond in everything they did. They truly made all of our wedding dreams come true, and no matter what I asked for or how difficult it was, they found a way to make it happen. The chef prepared the most over the top amazing food for us and Bernardo, the general manager, made us feel like we were celebrities from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. On our wedding night, Bernardo arranged to have a photo of my husband and me from the wedding framed and waiting for us in our room when the night was over. It was truly top-notch, end-to-end, white glove service. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and my husband and I (and all of our family and friends) can't stop talking about it. It was the most amazing and incredible night of our lives. I wish I could personally thank each and every person who contributed to our wedding at The Ben--they have given us the most beautiful memories and we will forever cherish them.

As an event planner, I've had the pleasure of working at many properties. I was so thrilled to have the opportunity to work at the Ben, a new luxury property in downtown WPB. The overall design is stunning and there are several thoughtful, welcoming elements throughout the hotel. I also saw first hand the high-quality of service they provide to all guests, even with the hotel being opened for a week. The event spaces offer stunning views and provide guests with an authentic West Palm Beach experience. This is a gorgeous property and the perfect spot to host any event - you will not be dissapointed!

Yes, valet parking is available for an additional fee for up to 24 hours. We do offer in-and-out privileges, there are two public lots near by for self parking.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. Contracts provide a cancellation schedule noting when you will be responsible for the entire event fees vs partial if cancelled within a reasonable time before the event day. Due to Pandemic, hotel has many clients move to future dates without penalty* (based on dates selected).

We are located just 4.5 miles from PBI / Palm Beach International Airport or 40 minutes from FLL / Ft Lauderdale International Airport. The hotel does not have a shuttle service but most use UBER or LYFT or from Lauderdale rental cars or the Brightline rail system.

No, our venue is fully insured but any vendor that is onsite does need to provide proof of insurance and a business license 10 days prior to event to be permitted on site to provide their services.

The Ben is 100% pet friendly. We do charge a $125 fee per stay but provide your furry relative with a nice welcome arrival bag and lots of staff attention. Guests will comment on our "Gold Bruno Dogs" all over the hotel.

All Catering is done through our very talented Culinary Team. We have assembled some of the BEST of the BEST in the area. Our curated menus are just the starting point and if you desire something you don't see, simply ask us and we'll see if we can orchestrate it and provide you a price to add to your special day.

Yes! The Ben hosts full day arrangements every weekend. Our 1800 square foot STUDIO is the ideal place to host your ceremony if you like a gallery like setting and that non-traditional room. Then whisk upstairs to the rooftop for a cocktail party followed by your reception in our rooftop ballroom with view of the Atlantic Ocean and Palm Beach Island.
