Parkside is perfect for your event! Rustic charm in the heart of Gainesville Options for 10-200 guests. Perfect for weddings, engagement parties, meetings, and more. The Depot Event Space is situated in the historic heart of Gainesville, at Depot Park. The building was placed on the US National Register of Historic Places in 1996. The Depot began in August of 2016, and has rapidly grown into a desirable destination for weddings, reunions, birthday parties and more.

Parkside is perfect for your event.

The Depot Event Space is available for rent from 8am - 10pm (or later) and includes the use of the single event room, tables and chairs on an hourly basis. The space will accommodate up to 50 people for a buffet dinner or up to 80 for a mingle-style reception. At least one staff member is required for the duration of the event.

Description

The Depot Event Space is located inside the Historic Gainesville Depot Building at 201 SE Depot Avenue in downtown Gainesville, Florida. These notable buildings were placed on the US National Register of Historic Places in 1996. The Historic Gainesville Depot is situated within the newly developed Depot Park, and the two buildings house a general store, event space, a bar and a large outdoor garden. The Depot Event Space is a 1,124 square-foot, open-air venue that is leasable for private events.

    Depot Park is the absolute perfect wedding venue! The space is stunning even without decorations, and it is so easy to decorate and personalize. Bailey and her team were so responsive to every one of my questions and wonderings, even as I was planning remotely, and they made sure that our wedding was exactly what we hoped. The Top is one of our favorite restaurants, and catering was completely seamless at the Depot event space. Our experience was 100% positive, and I can’t recommend them enough!

    We recently held our wedding at the Depot Event Space and we cannot believe how incredible they were. From the very beginning they were attentive to our needs and concerns (COVID). It was such a pleasure to work with their staff, they were so accommodating and amazing. They met all of our guests differing dietary needs in addition to providing the most delicious wedding cake of all time! We still have people raving about the food. We could not imagine a better (more beautiful) location to host our wedding/reception than the Depot Event Space. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking to host any type of event. Thank you for everything you did to make our special day so special.

    As a vendor, I appreciate unique spaces and kind staff that is willing to be a team with the other vendors the day of. The Depot Event Space team is incredibly professional, approachable and such a delight to work alongside with. The actual venue is a Gainesville treasure, with a variety of open social spaces. Plus the interior market lights add such a romance to the space!
