About this venue

Newly painted white March 2024! Happily accommodating 200 guests, we have two dressing suites, a full kitchen, a dedicated ceremony room, plenty of bathrooms and air conditioning throughout. There is ample of parking for all of your guests and staff will be on site for the duration of your event. The English Country Barn offers several flexible space choices to make the wedding of your dreams come to life! Brand new for 2023 we now offer a huge covered chapel seating up to 200 guests giving you even more choice for your ceremony. In addition we have a stunning outdoor fireplace, a beautiful fountain and hand crafted outdoor bar all on our adjacent patio, the perfect spot for cocktail hour. We also boast 3 houses onsite available for wedding party or out of town guests.

I have worked many events at this venue and would give 10 stars! The owners are fantastic to work with, they take great care of the venue. The venue has many outdoor ceremony options, a ton of restrooms, onsite accommodations, honeymoon cottage, two level reception area. More whistles and bells than all other venues. Highly recommend this venue to my couples!

The English Country Barn made my dreams come true. I had always wanted to ride my horse to my wedding and this venue was able to accommodate this with their beautiful outdoor ceremony locations. The owners are lovely and go above and beyond to make sure you're day is perfect. My husband and I had the best day here, they have truly thought of everything.

Teresa and Ian, the owners of the venue are absolutely amazing. They have created such a beautiful atmosphere with a variety of spaces for you to choose from for your ceremony and photos. They also have lodging on site for an additional cost for you or guests which are updated and very convenient. In addition to their beautiful venue, they were easily accessible for questions to ensure our wedding weekend was wonderful. Highly, highly recommend using this venue— it’s worth the drive from Raleigh!

No it's your wedding your way. We have some vendors we have worked with and know they will do an amazing job but you are welcome to use whomever you prefer

Yes! You have exclusive use of the entire venue for your wedding.

Yes! The parking lot is well lit. Plus we have extensive lighting around the outside of venue including security lighting plus ambient string lights, bar lights and patio lighting
