About this venue

The Place has wonderful memories waiting for you. Two beautiful ponds with fountains, gazebos, stone walkways, and a winding stream nestled in the woods and surrounded by endless white fencing will provide amazing natural backdrops for your photos to capture the special moments of your day. We open our home to the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in our master suite. We also have a room for the groomsmen to get ready in once they arrive, with a flat screen TV, mini-fridge, couch, and arcade basketball. Have your ceremony next to the water, in front of the barn, down by the stream, or inside with beautiful sliding barn doors as your back drop and large pine beams overhead. Whatever you choose, we will customize it to make it all about you. Inside, your guests will appreciate the elegant venue with beams and stone fireplaces. With multiple choices for the placement of the bridal table, or the option of a sweetheart table, you can make “The Place” work for you!

    From the second we stepped foot at The Place for our first tour I could feel my stress just melt away. They were the first venue we visited and we didn’t need to look any further. The property is absolutely breathtaking, and so well maintained. Doug, Audrey, Marci, Jess and the whole staff at 534 made the whole planning process fun and enjoyable. We looked forward to every meeting with them! When they say all inclusive they truly mean it, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, not one detail was missed! I trusted them 110% to bring my vision to life and they exceeded all my expectations! Our cake caterer even told us, and I quote, “they were the most professional venue/team she has ever worked with.” I will gladly recommend The Place to anyone who will listen to me!!

    We got married July 13th 2020. Despite the craziness of COVID we had the most beautiful day!! The staff was great, food was awesome, we absolutely loved the flowers and decor and overall it was an incredible day to look back on. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. The vendors were also just so great to work with! If you’re getting married, look no further, The Place at 534 is hands down the best venue we’ve experienced!

    I don't have one bad thing to say about The Place at 534. Since it was the very first venue I contacted, I will admit that I was a bit annoyed when I asked for a price and was asked to come see the venue and discuss in person. After going for a tour and discussing price, I immediately knew that it was where I wanted to have our wedding. My husband (then fiance) tried to get me to look at other venues but I refused. Doug and Audrey made the whole process seamless. If the price seems like a sticker shock, go get quotes for all the individual vendors and compare. Aside from cost, by choosing The Place, when we had to reschedule twice, every vendor was contacted by The Place and I didn't have to worry about a single thing! They were wonderful to work with through a deployment and pandemic. The planning meetings were fun and it was made clear that they would do everything possible to make all my wedding dreams come true. After 3 years, we finally got to have our wedding this past weekend. Everything went as smooth as possible, and if anything went wrong, I never knew about it because it was handled immediately. Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and served hot, unlike many other weddings I've been to. The cake was moist and full of flavor. The decorations were beautiful. I will recommend The Place to every engaged couple I come in contact with! Go for a tour, you won't be disappointed!
