About this venue

Rustic meets glamour at Vale Royal. Enjoy an exclusive weekend or one-day use of our historic barn (circa 1836) on a beautiful, park-like 8 acres with rolling hills. Featuring a covered bridge, bonfire area, and your choice of 4 ceremony sites: the dock on the river with willow trees, the garden courtyard with a picket fence, the woodlands, and the prairie field. Stay the weekend in our well-appointed, 3-bedroom federal-style home. Pets can stay too! Conveniently located and close to hotels in Fenton, MI. Being on private property will allow you to choose any caterer or vendor you wish to use. This allows you the freedom to decorate creatively and chose your own menu. Bring in food carts! Craft Beer Vendors! Ice Cream trucks! If you don't want to DIY, don't worry — our preferred vendors are happy to put a package together for you and take care of your every need. We look forward to sharing the intimate charm that embodies Vale Royal with you and yours!

Rustic Glam!

Our unique and private estate becomes yours exclusively for three days, allowing you plenty of time to execute your vision. The Vale Royal Barn was built in the 1830s by one of Fenton's earliest pioneers. Now, this gem of a barn and all its hand-hewn beams have been restored on our park-like property. Offering absolutely stunning photographic opportunities as well as your choice of a white picket fence courtyard, woodland, riverside, or covered bridge ceremony site, this is the ultimate country party space! We are pleased to provide guests with an intimate outdoor venue that mixes woodsy charm with glamour. This space features a 2200 sq. ft. dining room with up lighting and a chandelier, as well as an indoor bar and bathrooms. An outdoor deck is used for the buffet if weather permits.

The Vale Royal Barn is a wonderful venue. Val and her team are so easy to work with and never hesitate to lend a helping hand. The barn, house, and surrounding grounds are well maintained and gorgeous! Couples have many picturesque locations to choose from for their ceremony and photographs. I would definitely recommend Vale Royal to anyone looking for that special place to make their memories!

The barn is kept in its rustic state for historical integrity. We do have portable air conditioning units and fans and we use the same heaters tent companies use to heat the barn.

A 50 percent deposit is required to reserve your date.

Check in is Friday at 11am. Check out is Sunday at 11 am.
