Welcome to The West Events, an industrial chic event venue surrounded by the unmistakable feel of old Florida. Preserving the structural integrity and industrial soul of one of the few remaining mid-century buildings along the Gulf Coast, we have incorporated modern design and versatility to offer guests a truly unique event space experience. Honoring the history of the building’s St. Pete/Tampa/Clearwater location, where it has stood for over 65 years, we look forward to hosting all of your special occasions, from wedding receptions to corporate events, for many years to come. The exposed brick walls provide the perfect backdrop to accentuate any aesthetic style, decor, or ambiance. Mere steps away from the white-sand beaches of the Gulf Coast, The West provides clients with a non-traditional backdrop of raw brick walls and polished concrete floors and the freedom to transform this blank canvas into the Instagram-inspired, Pinterest-planned venue of their dreams.

The Blue Ribbon Room

Honoring the building’s origin as The Blue Ribbon Laundry, our main room welcomes guests with an open floor plan that is ready for anything from elaborate staging to subtle decor. While paying homage to the industrial roots of the building, the main room itself, however, still elicits clean, comfortable elegance.

I absolutely love this venue! The modern yet chic style of the venue immediately drew me in from the first time I visited. I have been to many venues in our area and this one is definitely completely original! ...and then to be just steps away from the beach?! Perfection. The owners are kind, caring, wonderful individuals who I have had the pleasure of working with on several occasions . They truly pour themselves into each and every event. It's always a great experience and I cannot recommend this venue enough!

We use an in house bartending service. We do have competitive bar packages that include: - Beer/Wine - Call Bar - Premium Bar - Cash Bar - Signature Cocktails - Champagne Toasts - Family Style Bar Service

Yes, we have a private parking lot that can self park up to 20 cars. If event will need additional parking, valet parking is available at the rate of $30 per hour (per attendant) for up to 8 hours.

Yes, our venue is wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.

Your reservation includes eight hours from start to finish (unless otherwise noted, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up. Additional time can be added to the rental.

Initial set up, 150 wooden cross back chairs, 20x 60" rounds, 10 high tops, get ready room, prep kitchen for catering, indoor/outdoor bar with 2,000 square feet of outdoor space as well as 5,000 square feet of indoor space. We do allow clients to book outside vendors off our preferred list, while photographers, videographers, hair and makeup and other vendors may be booked off our preferred list.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If date needs to be altered or moved, we do allow clients to move without additional fee or penalty.
