The grand Hamilton Mansion, the oldest example of Federal architecture in the country, boasts elegant event spaces: the spacious drawing room, lofty circular vestibule, and the stately main ballroom complete with a magnificent covered portico. The Stable offers a wonderful backdrop for your outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. Designated a National Historic Landmark District in recognition of its unique history. All of our spaces are unfurnished, providing you the opportunity to conceive and design the perfect setting. From fine dining to food trucks, we allow many different catering options.     We cannot speak highly enough of The Woodlands and its fantastic team. The Woodlands holds a special place in our hearts--our first date was here, we got engaged here, and it only made sense to get married here as well. If you are looking for an absolutely stunning, unique location for your wedding, look no further! The Woodlands is an oasis in the city. The mansion and stable are full of historic character and charm, and the grounds themselves are simply beautiful no matter the season. You are able to create your own experience, which makes it so personal--food trucks? Tent? Open dining under the stars? Cocktails in the mansion? The team is ready to work with you to make your day happen. We were initially slated to get married in 2020, but had to postpone over a year due to the pandemic--the team at The Woodlands were so gracious and helpful and really made the postponement process so easy. They were fully transparent, quick to respond to any question or clarification, and extremely flexible when things came up. They are a pleasure to work with and we can't thank them enough for helping us have an amazing wedding day! We wouldn't change a single thing.
