100 year old family florist
I have been fortunate enough to see Vows DS M transform form an idea to its realty. It was Linda's vision that small and intimate is choice many want for there celebration of their wedding, renewals or whatever the occasion. The passion of the Vows team a mother and daughter business has plenty of passion and a very trendy location in East Village of Des Moines. I would suggest anyone that want a smaller and affordable look into Vows. Walking distance to our finest hotels and restaurant's. Perfect for a destination wedding .
Perfect Downtown Micro Venue!
I'm a wedding photographer, and I recently held a styled shoot at VOWS. From beginning to end, the team at VOWS was a dream to work with. Not only are the people lovely, but this space is simply gorgeous. The room itself is very versatile and could be set up in a million different ways, but also needs NO extra decoration for those who love a clean and modern look (like me). It's a bright, minimalist space just a few steps from some of the best restaurants, shopping, and activities in the metro and tons of parking available. The front windows let lots of natural light into the space, while the pendant lighting in the venue allows for a warm and moody feel. The moveable wall (which includes a plain white side, and a greenery side, depending on your preference) can be adjusted to divide the room or act as a backdrop that fits any size wedding day. The couples lounge is AMAZING as well, with the cutest mural of historical wedding photos that is such a fun getting ready backdrop. Can't say ENOUGH good things about VOWS, but highly recommend you check it out in person. I can't wait to shoot a wedding for future clients here!

Linda and Liz have been such a joy to work with! They have been quick to respond to emails and happy to answer all my questions. When we met in person to tour the space, we felt welcome right away –– like old friends catching up. I love that VOWS is focused on small and intimate weddings – a lot of venues in town are geared toward the larger capacity and that's just not really our style. What's even better is that everything from officiant to photographer to food and drink is included in our package, so I don't have to stress over a million different things or vendors. Our wedding isn't until 2024, but we could not be more excited to host our close friends and family at VOWS! I am very much looking forward to working with the VOWS team as our date nears to finalize all the details.
