Do you film destination weddings?

Definitely! We are based out of Austin, Texas but are available to travel anywhere! For locations in Texas that are 50 miles outside of Austin, there is a travel fee based on mileage round-trip. Overnight lodging will be requested for weddings over three hours away. We have packages for U.S. Elopements & Destination Weddings. A custom package can be created for International Weddings.

Question 2

What is your payment plan? How can we pay you?

Accepted Answer

To reserve your date, we require a 30% deposit. The remainder of your package price will be due no later than thirty days before your wedding day. We have accounts with various secure online payment services. Zelle (bank transfer) is preferred to avoid processing fees. We also accept checks by mail, or if you are local, we would love to meet up with you to put a face to all the emails and to chat before the wedding day!

What is your style and who do you like to work with?

We've filmed weddings for six years now and we are over the wedding industry trends that each couple is shoved into, the “plug this couple into the mold” kind of days. We have refined our taste and understand what inspires us to create. Some words we would use to describe our style and the couples who book us are alternative, creative, mindful, edgy, down to earth, adventurous, rebels in love.

Do you film elopements?

100%. Elopements are some of our favorite celebrations to capture and we would love to hear all the details you're planning and jump on board!

Do you offer a la carte options?

Accepted Answer

We have several Add Ons that can be purchased and included in your package, such as full captures of your toasts ($550), ceremony ($850) or rehearsal dinner coverage ($2450). Contact us for a full list of offerings.

Where are you based out of & what do you require for travel?

Accepted Answer

We are a husband and wife team based out of Austin, Texas but are available to travel anywhere! For locations in Texas that are 50 miles outside of the zip code 78660, there is a travel fee based on mileage round-trip (65.5 cents/mile per IRS Standards 2023). Overnight accommodations will also be requested for weddings over three hours away. We have packages for U.S. Elopements & Destination Weddings that include travel cost, but depending on location and season, there may need to be additional travel compensation. A custom package can be created for International Weddings.

Can we pick the music for our film?

We'd love to hear what some of your favorite artists/songs are and jam to your Spotify playlist as we edit. We only use licensed music in our films and we always take into consideration the musical taste of our clients. We use Musicbed & Tracks to license music. We love to collaborate and can send you a list of songs on a curated playlist before we start the edit to make sure it is music you dig.

What is your delivery timeframe?

Accepted Answer

If your wedding is in peak wedding season, three months is the average turnaround time. We take our work personally and hand-craft each film, so we take a limited number of weddings a year to give each couple the same detailed experience. We can speed edit, but prefer to give you a quality product you will enjoy for the rest of your life than give you immediate gratification from a rushed video.

Do you have insurance?

Yup! We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.

Question 10

Can anyone else see our wedding video?

Accepted Answer

Our wedding films are upload privately to the internet & only those with a link will be able to view it. We may upload your video to our website or social platforms but if you are uncomfortable with that for any reason, just let us know and your video can remain private.

There are a lot of really good reasons to book our Photo & Video package: 1. We’re a one stop shop to preserve all your wedding memories & moments. One contract, invoice, & team to communicate your vision to. 2. You’ll get cohesive & creative photo & video deliverables. We’ve spent a lot of time honing in our look & style so that your photos & video feel like continuations of each other rather than separate take aways from the day. 3. We’re a strong, intuitive team. Being a husband & wife team, our lines of communication are wide open. We know how to tell each other what we need & how to shoot around & with each other harmoniously!

What gear do you use?

We shoot on Sony camera bodies and use a variety of Zeiss lenses. We film entirely in 4K resolution, 10 bit color and capture RAW photos. For those of you who don’t talk in camera jargon, that just means you are getting some of the best quality footage & photos cameras can offer, large enough to be played in a movie theater without losing detail and providing us with the most color information to play with while editing your film & photos. We love mixed media and offer 35mm film photography, polaroids, camcorder style video & Super 8 film.

What is included in All Day Coverage?

Our Photo & Video Package includes All Day coverage so that you don't have to stress about time and so that we can be available and flexible with our coverage of the day. The strength of our documentary approach is in us being there for the moments to play out and for you to be in the moment. We don't want our couples rushing from one moment to the next because they only have documenters there for a set amount of hours. This allows our couples to build more time into their day to spend how they like and eliminates stress on us to rush you through the day, so it’s a win win! Typically, All Day Coverage ends up being 10 hours.
