Kota Video is a SoCal video production service which creates cinematic and memorable films that couples and families will cherish for a lifetime. Dakotah and Cheryl Douglas started this business to make lasting memories for both the clients we work with and ourselves. We enjoy being a part of such special occasions and we live for the positive feedback we receive. We look forward to working with you!
I have developed a keen eye for cinematography over nearly 10 years of practice. I know what shots to get and dynamically add new ones for each location I shoot at. I know when and where to be at all times. This shines through in the editing room where it all comes together. We are friendly to couples of all races, ethnicities, gender identity, and sexual preference.

Beautiful videos!
Dakotah was very easy to work with and we love our wedding videos! He captured all of the important moments of our day beautifully and got us our videos back very quickly!
Excellent wedding video
We’re really happy with the experience with Kota video and especially the eye for details and capturing the emotions of the whole event. All the important moments have been captured. The whole video process was not overwhelming for us nor our guests. Really enjoyed the speeches of maid of honor and best man into the video. It will be a great memory for us and an opportunity to look back at the best of day of our lives. I would recommend Kota to my closed ones.

My husband and I hired Dakotah for our wedding video and I couldn't be happier with the experience and the results. The video turned out amazing - the editing was superb; and we were also thrilled with the video booth and drone footage. Dakotah arrived early on our wedding day to set up and take getting ready videos, and he was "in the background" throughout the ceremony and reception. He was very professional and communicative throughout the entire process. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!
