I am so happy we chose the Day of Company as our day of coordinator. For the few months leading up to the wedding, we worked closely with Joanna to figure out all the details for the day of. She was so easy to work with, communicative, professional, and flexible. Wedding planning was stressful, but having Joanna made it a lot easier. She helped us finalize every little detail and helped us visualize the day from beginning to end. She handled any issues we had with our venue by communicating with them directly, which was really appreciated. On the day of the wedding, Erica was our day of coordinator. Our day went better than we could've imagined and we really have Erica and Joanna to thank for that. Erica was always there to make sure we were on time, grab things for us as we are super forgetful, and offered solutions anytime there was an issue. We could not have done it without her. We're lucky to have worked with them and would 100% recommend them to anyone!

If we could give more than 5 stars we would! We absolutely LOVED Jessica and her team. One of the most important vendors you book after securing your venue, is your planner. Jessica was the best decision we made during the wedding planning process right from the very beginning. She helped us vet and book vendors, she gave us so many resources with all different FAQ's on seating charts, a fully written out timeline by month, an cute emergency kit on the day of the wedding and so SO much more. She truly brought our wedding day vision to life and never told us "no" when things weren't in budget, she would always say that she would "figure it out for us" and she ALWAYS DID! There were very random items (such as a green couch) that I had fallen in love with during the planning process and Jessica moved things around in the budget to ensure we got our green couch. She even put us in contact with a vendor she had worked with in the past to ensure we got a great deal on it. Anything we wanted, she made sure was all set for us on the wedding day. The timeline of the wedding day was so smooth and all of our other vendors was complimenting how organized everything was for them since Jessica reached out before the wedding to give them final “day of” details. My mom would not stop mentioning how she wants to get married again, just to have Jessica throw her a big party haha. I am so sad that the wedding planning process is over because I loved sending her random inspo pics from Pinterest and talking about how we could achieve the look for less money. She is the bargain QUEEN and is so extremely crafty. Jessica and her team created ALL of our signage with the beautiful boho theme that we wanted. From the "welcome sign" to the "signature drinks" sign, Jessica hand painted and dyed every single fabric we needed to match the theme. She was AMAZING!!! We will recommend her and the Pine Events Co team to every engaged couple we meet because without her our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was. 10 out of 10 recommend!!!

The Get Together Events did an incredible job with our wedding in Brooklyn NY. As our logistics lead, Lauren was very organized and prompt to respond to our many questions. She also brought great energy and made the entire process a lot of fun for us. As much as we tried to keep our wedding relatively simple, there are just so many details to consider. Without Lauren's support and good vibes, we would've surely felt overwhelmed. She truly took the logistical tasks off our plates so that we could focus on the creative-related tasks, and consistently kept us on top of what needed to be done. Grace was our onsite manager, and similar to Lauren, she brought tremendous energy and attention to detail. She was a big part of why our wedding turned out so successfully not only because she handled the logistics and vendor communications so well, but also because she was simply a joy to work with. From our very first interactions with Deliece from the Dhalia team, we knew we had picked a spectacular partner to help plan our summer wedding in the Catskills. In the run-up to our wedding, Deliece was incredibly helpful in every way. She provided candid advice when we asked for it, kept us on schedule, documented everything in detail, let us lead on the things we wanted to organize ourselves, and took the time to understand our vision for our wedding so she could help us prioritize and spend thoughtfully. Where Deliece knew of multiple vendors, she gave us honest advice about whom to hire; where she didn’t, she reached out to her colleagues and was able to get us informed opinions about whom to work with and why. Dhalia was also affordable, especially by comparison with some of the expensive (and overbearing) planners we spoke with. As an English couple getting married in New York we had a lot to navigate along the way, and we felt that Jason and his team were there at every single stage to make the whole thing a smooth and enjoyable process. We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend him to any other couple. As two grooms we had a lot of our own ideas for the wedding and were able to identify and source many of the spaces & vendors that we needed, but Jason really helped us bring those different pieces together into a wonderful cohesive experience - always helping us take things to the next level. Jason and his team really came into their own in the last month or so of the wedding - we could easily have been overwhelmed by everything coming together, especially from afar, but his team really took over all the contacts, practicalities and brought everything seemlessly together. We loved working with Jason and felt that by the day itself he was just another of our friends who we were glad to have spending the day with us - his small team faded into the background and everything went perfectly to schedule. We were able to totally relax and enjoy things without once having to worry about practicalities. Overall we had a fantastic wedding at the Bowery Hotel, and entertained our guests the day either side, and we couldn't have done any of it without Jason. We didn't keep things simple - we had different vendors providing flowers, lighting, catering... and unusually half a dozen different music providers. You wouldn't have known it wasn't just one team though. We did a lot of the selection & planning ourselves but that was very much our own choice and how we scoped the service - we wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I stumbled upon Dear September in the midst of my wedding entertainment search, as they had worked with the band I had my eye on, and when I found out that they offered design and management packages - I knew I had to book them. I hired her to design / plan my wedding at the new york botanical gardens in october 2023. up until the wedding date (and even the day after when she dropped off everything i left at the wedding venue to my hotel) she was prepared and only wanted me and my partner to relax. i felt completely confident that she would take care of everything and all the last minute details even when our outdoor wedding became suddenly indoors as it started to torrential downpour. she listened to all our ideas, was super flexible when i told her last minute i want a female magician to perform at the reception, totally nailed the design that i had in mind, and was very communicative and lovely to work with. i would 100% hire letny and shindy studio again (hopefully not for another wedding!) and could not recommend her more. thanks again letny for making my wedding so memorable!

She took the time to listen and understand my culture, wishes and vision. She was extremely realistic and reminded me of my budget and what I could do vs not do. It is hard to put into words the tremendous gratitude I feel for Christina and her team with Lovelace Designs. We had our wedding at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA – a non-conventional space that very rarely holds weddings. There were countless unique aspects of this space we had to consider while planning the event, and it is no exaggeration that Christina executed everything perfectly. In addition to her amazing skills as an event coordinator, she is a kind and friendly person who supported me through all the unforeseen challenges associated with planning your wedding. Christina consistently went above and beyond what was contractually required. One example of this excellent service occurred when we were securing a pipe & drape vendor for our ceremony. Christina actually drove out to Holyoke MA to see the pipe and drape in person since this was a new vendor she had not previously worked with. I am so thankful she took that trip as we realized that vendor could not execute what we envisioned. After describing her concerns to me, she immediately presented me with a solution in the form of another vendor who was able to provide us with exactly what we needed for our space. This is truly just one example of the hundreds of occasions Christina’s customer service was far beyond what we could’ve expected. From the first phone call I had with Christina, I knew that she would be pleasant to work with and up for the challenge. As time went on, I developed a profound appreciation for both her fabulous taste and her special ability to help me take simple ideas and create a seamless theme and elegant design. She was so wonderful to work with, my grandmother hired her to assist with my bridal shower and my mother-in-law also hired her to coordinate the 170-person rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding! Wow wow wow! I wanted to take the time to leave the most thorough review of high praise because Debbie's team was absolutely fantastic to work with from beginning to end. We hired Debbie about a month out from our wedding for Day-of coordination as well as to review and revise all of the vendor contracts that we had done prior to hiring her. Debbie picked up sloppy and mismanaged work from a previous planner we parted ways with. It was no easy feat to pick up the previous planner's work and correct it and Debbie dived in head first. She asked thoughtful, detailed oriented questions the entire time to make sure that she executed my vision to the tee. Debbie and I had frequent calls leading up to our wedding detailing every aspect of the wedding and logistics. The logistics of being a NYC DIY-heavy bride without a car we were concerned as it was important to me that we didn't have family and friends setting up on wedding day. Debbie came by and took inventory of all of our DIY materials, picked them up prior to the wedding, set them up wedding day, and then dropped them off back at our house on wedding night. The venue we rented had to be left cleared and clean and Debbie's team did a fantastic job with that and left the place spotless. Debbie also sent me photos of the space for reference. Now for Debbie's team on our wedding day. My family and guests LOVED Debbie's team. They were kind, eager, and did anything my family requested of them. I found out after the fact that one of Debbie's team members helped my stepmom-in-law with her makeup before the ceremony, which was definitely outside of their roles and responsibilities, but they did it with such a smile and grace. I heard multiple stories just like that one of Debbie's team jumping to help wedding guests or even vendors as they needed it during the night. If you are looking for someone detail-oriented who will keep a tight timeline and help you bring your dream wedding to life, I would 100% recommend hiring Debbie. She was worth every penny to my husband and me. And our wedding would have not gone as smoothly as it did without her ability to manage so many different aspects and quickly think on her feet. Hiring the Styled Stem was the #1 best decision of all the wedding decisions we made! We hired them for full service wedding planning and design, and the attention we received was top-tier. In the months before the wedding, the Styled Stem team provided the perfect balance of logistical and emotional support to allow me to go into my wedding day without any concerns. From day 1, the team listened to my vision and worked with me to make it happen, from finding the best-in-class vendors to floral design to logistical support. My wedding was set in the backyard of my uncle's rural property in western New Jersey. There were many unique challenges associated with this venue choice: parking on a bumpy lawn, scarcity of indoor restrooms, a long driveway which made for tricky rental delivery. Candice and her team found us the valet who would make it happen, the more deluxe mobile restrooms any of our guests had seen, and on the day of my wedding, she solved delivery mishaps before I even heard about then. And the visual design! Everything came out exactly as I wanted it to, and beyond. I was surprised on the day of my wedding with gorgeous wildflower floral arrangements in small glass vases. The day was a perfect blend of flowery laid-back visuals while still feeling elegant and allowing the natural environment to sing. My wedding bouquet, a Styled Stem design, was absolutely perfect, and Candice's completely independent design and creation. One more thing: this team attended the most sentimental day of our lives and fit right in among our family and friends. They worked incredibly hard, but with such grace and good humor, they felt like family. I hope to keep in touch with them for years to come, as I feel grateful to have met such wonderful people as they are through this process.

Then there is the question of who will put together your DIY decor, handle vendors, put out fires, deal with forgotten last-minute items, cue vendors, help guests, and handle everything else on your wedding day.

Anadina is the absolute, unparalleled master of making sure your wedding is incredible. We hired her as a day of coordinator to help us pull off a 94 person DIY wedding in Brooklyn, with 5 weeks notice, while personalizing nearly every element of the evening, including several live music performances. I cannot overstate how amazing she was, and that it is because of her that this was the best weekend of our lives. She is not just warm, personable, funny, and easygoing. She is confident, experienced, and completely on top of every single detail you can think of - as well as the ones you can’t. She had one primary goal - pulling off a flawless event - and she delivered. She was extremely easy to work with, and was a phenomenal team player, coordinating everything with us, the venue, our vendors, and even making sure our friends and family were tended to. She and her assistant helped with setting up/decorating different elements of the venue, and so much more, always with great vibes and a smile on her face. In fact, she came up with some of the most memorable design and decorative ideas. She is extremely creative and artistic, and has a very keen eye for detail. For many people, wedding planning can be stressful. She made the process fun and exponentially easier. I cannot imagine how things would have gone without her. Excellent news: your search for a wedding planner and coordinator is over. Hire Venture North Events! They are the best! Kim and CJ are the perfect mix of detail-oriented, thoughtful, creative, and cool under pressure. We hired them for full planning for our wedding weekend at Eastwind Hotel in Windham in June 2023. We started working with them a year before, and they were deeply engaged the entire time. Our wedding was a full weekend (3 days and three events), with lots of different moving parts and activities. Everything was outdoors. We had to bring in and set up a lot of stuff. Not only were they exceptional at knowing and implementing logistics (sound, lighting, rentals, decor, rain plans), they always made sure that the events reflected our personal vision and intentions. The planning process itself was made immensely fun working with them. Because of their expertise, we were able to focus on the creative stuff. We crafted what we hoped the weekend would look like together, planning over calls and the super organized planning spreadsheets Kim and CJ have created. Their systems kept us on track, and we (and our guests!) appreciated how well organized and executed everything was! On Saturday, we had lots of intermittent rain during outdoor events. Kim and CJ kept all our guests dry and happy, shifting schedules and logistics as needed. We were involved in these decisions but also trusted them completely, so were able to be fully present in the day with our guests. Kim’s timelines the day of the wedding ran impeccably; nothing felt rushed and she brought on top notch folks to work the wedding as day of staff. She has a deep knowledge of and relationships with various vendors in upstate New York, everyone was truly excellent. On top of it all, Kim and CJ were truly a joy to work with. Now a month out from the wedding, we are so grateful for how it all went! We miss them terribly! In sum, VNE gets our highest possible recommendation. Do yourself a favor and hire them, ASAP!

Its also important to mention that on our wedding day, NYC was in a state of emergency due to extreme rain and flash flooding. It was a pretty stressful morning but Ashley kept us calm and ensured that our wedding moved forward as planned. We had such a fun night despite the crazy weather and were able to enjoy our evening without worrying about the little details. We cannot recommend Starling enough!!
