From my first moment as a wedding photographer, I knew I wanted to kick tradition to the curb. I was tried of seeing wedding photography that excluded the communities that I hold closest. Since I was 12 years old, I have always loved to photograph my friends and family, that was with Kodak Film but it wasn't as easy as it is now, photography has been my passion since then. I studied Journalism and photography in 2002 at the Institute of LAINSPROCOM and have been shooting weddings and portraits professionally since 2006. I describe my photography as honest, sincere, and intimate. My primary focus is the beauty and raw emotion in each moment. I love the romance of weddings, I approach each event and each session with attention, honesty, and love. I put my heart and soul into my work.

I've been in business as a wedding and portrait photographer since 2015, and have had a camera in my hand since the days before digital. In February of 2020 I quit my day job to put 100% of my efforts into my photography business, which was a terrifying but incredibly liberating decision. It's a powerful thing to commit to one's passion.

I am a documentary wedding photographer -- I'm all about capturing real moments. In my photographs, I’m always shooting with an eye for color, light, and dynamic shadows. I integrate these technical aspects with my background in film, literature and storytelling so with every wedding, I create a series of documentary photos that recreates the authentic narrative of a day. I’m always chasing the candid, the emotional, even the un-noticed everyday details; things that make you do a double take, little moments that make your heart swell.

I have a passion for travel and I love meeting new people and hearing their crazy (or not so crazy) stories. I love trying new things and walking around a new city until my feet bleed (that's literally happened...still love you tho, NYC). I'm a major extrovert, but I have a great appreciation for the little things in life. You'll likely find me sipping some strong coffee at a local café or snuggled up on the couch with some wine, pizza, and my husband on a rainy day. With a camera in hand, I am probably the most annoying person to travel with, stopping every ten feet to take a picture. Sorry not sorry.
