The Pros does it slightly differently. They are in over 60 cities and they hook you up with a photographer for your day. We got matched with Hugh and we could not be happier. He did our engagement shoot as well so we got to know him before the wedding. The turnaround time for photos was crazy! We got our wedding photos back within 10 days and there is over 1k to choose from and they are all stunning. He got some really great shots of family members and ones I will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a great value in photos, you won’t be disappointed in booking with The Pros.

When my husband and I started planning our wedding we were completely overwhelmed with all the decisions that needed to be made. For photos, we new we wanted a really natural style and wedding alchemy seemed like they could be a perfect fit. From the very first email they were so helpful and guided us through the process and gave some great tips. The wedding day flew by but I'm so glad we chose them because they were an absolute pleasure to work with. The photos came out beautifully and I know we're going to love these for years to come. Highly recommend!

Cesario Mendez Photography

5.0

Washington, DC
  • Photojournalistic style

When I am not behind the camera or editing photos, I enjoy short Uber rides to bottomless brunch on the weekends; right now mimosas and I kinda have a thing going on! I have a special relationship with bourbon and FIRMLY believe in putting food on the grill during late afternoons should be the norm. I am blessed to be married to the happiest person on earth (I am so serious), who just happens to double as my favorite person. She keeps me grounded and never fails to remind me how great she is.

Awarded Best of Zola
Cesar was the best option for my wife and I. From start to finish I was impressed by his professionalism, talent, and genuine care about what we ultimately wanted for photography. For the DMV area, his pricing and packages are the best when it comes to being affordable without losing quality. I am most thankful for the extra mile he was willing to go throughout this process. Unfortunately due to the heat and transportation, our wedding and groom cake were leaning/crooked on our big day. Cesar was kind enough to make photo edits of the cakes and completely straightened them! Now noone will ever remember the leaning tower of cake!

Ivy & Quartz Photography

5.0

Bethesda, MD
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,750

Hi! I'm Nina and I run Ivy & Quartz photography! I shot my first wedding in 2013, but my journey with photography began long before that. When I was about 10 years old, my dad gave me a camera and I quickly became obsessed. My intrigue continued to grow over the years and I went on to earn my BA in Studio Art , Photography, from the University of Virginia. After graduating I worked as a portrait photographer and decided to pursue and earn my MFA in Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I (and our families) are pleased to give 5 stars to Nina for her professionalism, creativity, and wiliness to give us memories from our day that will last a lifetime. She was knowledgeable about the customs and traditions and reverence required to capture a Catholic mass; she knew how to be sure to capture the moments, without distracting from the importance of the Sacrament. I've been to many weddings where all you see is the photographer, but she was able to get the shot without disturbing the elements of the day. She had such patience and flexibility with our very large families, making sure we completed our shot-list and still had time to enjoy the smaller intimate (less posed) moments together. I was not a bride that had a particularly detailed vision of the shots I wanted, mostly we wanted her to capture the party, the joy, the enjoyment. I would (and have) recommended Nina to friends. She's easy to work with, gives good direction to those brides and grooms (like us) with less creative direction then others. She's very willing to give anything a try (she even got on the ground for us so we could take an upshot of us holding hands, one of my now-favorite pictures of the day). She was reasonable, flexible, and upfront about budget and costs. Nothing was a surprise as far as cost and she turned the photos around in a very timely manner. Absolutely recommend and I hope to be able to use her services for other events in our lives in the future. (Wedding June 10, 2023)

Oury Memories

Reston, VA
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $1,200

I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

I am part of a husband and wife team. My husband Pete is a laidback Minnesotan and I grew up in Germany. Between the two of us we speak multiple languages. Though we are based in the DC metro area we love to travel for destination weddings!

Awarded Best of Zola
What amazing photographers! Anji and Pete shot our entire wedding without us even knowing they were there! They are seriously so much fun to work with and they are absolutely THE BEST at what they do. A husband and wife team who each brings their own super skills to the shoot! They have taken our engagement pictures, wedding pictures, lifestyle pictures, maternity pictures and now pics of our little ones! We will NEVER go to anyone else because it’s so easy to work with them and the way they capture each moment is magical! If you are wondering if you should book, go for it and book them! You won’t regret it at all!!!

Chris Ferenzi Photography

5.0

Washington, DC
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,600

Hey, I'm Chris! Dog-lover, latte-lover, gym-lover, and cookie-lover I justify the cookies by going to the gym. One of my life goals is to have enough dogs (dachshunds and corgis) to create a sled team. I will use this sled team to pull myself around while shooting your wedding. I’m joking, unless you really want me to, in which maybe WE should get married.

Awarded Best of Zola
Chris did an amazing job for our wedding!! He was professional and fun to work with. He did a great job guiding us during our staged photos and grabbed truly amazing candid photos that we will have for life. Would highly recommend Chris!

Lindsay King Photography

5.0

Arlington, VA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,500

We are a passionate and creative husband and wife photography team who have a serious soft spot for documenting love stories. The big and little moments in life matter and we believe that everyone deserves to have photos that remind them of all the joy, tears, laughter, and adventure that surrounded them on the most momentous days in their life.

Awarded Best of Zola
"When you look back at these photos years from now, what do you want to feel?" was the question that Lindsay asked my then-fiancée and me when we first met to talk about wedding photography. We said that we wanted to be transported back to that moment, and remember what it felt like being there on that day. Looking at the photos now, this is EXACTLY what Lindsay and her husband/co-photographer Greg delivered. Lindsay's photos go so far beyond just documenting what happened - they capture the joy, the emotion, the tears, the excitement. Using some kind of camera magic, she captures the cozy mood lighting of our venue exactly as it felt, the sparkle of the lights and the dark wood of the bar, no overexposed flashes or dimness at all. Our formal photos are serene and gorgeous, our dancing photos are chaotic and full of light and energy. I don't know how she caught it all, because I hardly remember seeing her on the day, but she managed to capture even the little accidental unscripted moments that might have otherwise been lost to time. The dash from the car to the venue, through the rain umbrella in hand, is now one of my favorite memories AND favorite photos, all thanks to Lindsay. On top of all that, Lindsay and Greg are just lovely people. They immediately made us feel comfortable, and quickly got us past the inherent goofiness of posing for photos. They were responsive, communicative, so easy to work with, and made sure they understood our vision for the day so they could take photos that captured it. We absolutely could not be happier with our wedding photos and wholeheartedly recommend Lindsay King Photography.
