Katie Yarborough is a wedding and elopement photographer based in Texas. Her images are honest and artful, with an emphasis on candid moments over anything posed. Her philosophy is that the moment always matters more than the photograph, and truthful storytelling will forever be at the forefront of her art. She uses a mix of film (35mm, medium format, and polaroids) and digital imagery to tell the story of her couples in a way that is out of the box and edgy, but also timeless. I am a Dallas-based photographer, videographer, and owner of JT Media Arts specializing in Weddings, Engagements, and Destination Elopements. An educator by trade, teaching in the Dallas area. I discovered an interest in photography and video through my summer travels abroad! I quickly fell in love with capturing still life through my lens.
