Have you ever met someone you just knew immediately was your person? We bet you have since you're here now! In 2015, Paul was the photographer at Crystal’s younger brother’s wedding, where she was a bridesmaid. We loved everything about that special day, but from the moment we locked eyes it was like time stood still. We knew then and there that we just hit the jackpot! Not only did we meet at a wedding, but we have both been in the events industry for well over a decade. Paul Douda Photography & Video offers full service wedding coverage for your big day in San Diego and beyond! We love to travel and destination weddings are a favorite!

We were looking for a photographer to capture our wedding day. We had specific requests one of them being we wanted the photos to be of the actual day as it was happening, not staged photos. Paul heard our request and went about the wedding mostly unnoticed, except where the group shots or special moments needed to be memorable. Crystal did the Video OMG. She captured everything we asked for and more. And the video trailer she made for us, wow!!! The first time I watched it I was thinking is this for real!!! Way over and above what we expected! I watch it all probably once a month. The first month 20 times a day and I still cry.. I love to send the video link to friends and Family. She made us look so good. Chad my husband and I went to a wedding show at the Grant hotel and literally search high and low for a photographer. Everyone had a package to sell, however no one listened to what we were trying to capture. When I said we search high and low I mean it. We found Crystal in the basement of the hotel, Chad fell in love with crystal first, being next to a brewery stand probably helped!! She listened to everything we were trying to accomplish for our special day. Even customized a special package based on our requests. Nothing was ever a problem or issue. The final results,Love these guys!!!!!!! Literally trust them for your day let them spoil you like they did for us. You will NOT be disappointed, not one bit!!!!!!!!!!

Traveling has taught me the importance of capturing all the important - big and small - moments to look back on years later. I love capturing those truly candid moments. The kind of photos that put you right back in the moment five, ten, fifty years later. I'm a Southern California-based photographer that will travel wherever you want to document your love! I'm constantly exploring in my hiking boots with laid-back couples that want to capture genuine moments about their relationship. When I'm not taking pictures, you can usually find me hanging out with my people, hiking, watching sitcoms, or taking a spontaneous trip.

Drew from Xpress Entertainment here! Working with Emily Morgan Photography for a North Carolina wedding was an absolute pleasure. Emily's fantastic personality and flexibility with timelines made the collaboration seamless. She ensured the couple received all the shots they desired, and when the photos arrived, they were nothing short of brilliant. Looking forward to our paths crossing again! 5 stars all the way.

I’ve been happily married for almost 27 years. I have three awesome sons. My parakeets Kiwi and Sparky are very social, meaning very loud! Champagne (maybe that’s why I love weddings) and sushi lover here! Photography has been my passion ever since my dad gave me my first film camera and introduced me to the dark room at age of 10. I lived in Japan for 12 years, and even performed on a stage there. I’m always up for a great road trip! I love tuna fishing. I love hats and want to wear them everyday (over 20 hats in my collection). I’ve been shooting beautiful weddings for almost 10 years. I secretly cry at every wedding.

When it came to our Halloween wedding, the road was filled with unexpected hiccups and stress. However, we were incredibly fortunate to have found Irina, our remarkable wedding photographer. From the very beginning, Irina's presence and talent helped us navigate the challenges and find moments of joy amidst the chaos. Her warm and calming demeanor made us feel at ease, allowing us to relax and embrace the magic of our wedding day. Beyond her talent, Irina's genuine care and dedication were evident in every interaction. She went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was stress-free, guiding us through the process with kindness and reassurance. We wholeheartedly recommend Irina as a wedding photographer. Irina, we are forever grateful for your presence and the remarkable photographs that now serve as timeless reminders of our Halloween fairytale. Thank you for turning our hiccups into moments of magic and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Lo had been our dream photographer for years before we had our wedding and finding her available for our date was a dream come true. She is kind, fun, very easy to talk to, and go with the flow which really helped me not stress on my wedding day. Not only that but gentle and calming. I already knew our gallery was going to be amazing, but when we sat down to view our wedding photos together, it had my husband and I both crying and re-living our day all over again with so much we didn’t even notice happening around us. The photos of our loved ones, the sentimental and cherished memories of our friends dressed up and having a great time are truly stunning keepsakes we will enjoy for generations. Thank you, Lo!

I am really passionate about my job. I love meeting and connecting with people. Making them laugh and having fun during the photo session is one of my main purposes. I love when clients they tell me they don't like to have their pictures taken, that is a challenge; and I promise I will change their minds. When you put your heart and soul in what you do, everything comes naturally.

She was perfect and detailed. She is a pro and knew exactly what she was doing. She got along with everyone and showed a great time and experience. She knows how to truly capture the perfect moments.

I'm in love with taking photos and I spend all of my time working on fine-tuning my photography but also getting deeper than just taking photos. I am taking photos with the purpose now more than ever. Its been my years of experience that has helped me develop my photography into art and not just a picture taker. From the moment I meet my clients, I want to know as much as I can. Getting closer to a client really transcends into the photographs I am taking of them and their special day.

Toby was fantastic! From beginning to end, he was very professional and accommodating. He artistically captured our special day and worked well coordinating photos with our large families. We love his edits, the angles, creative shots and all of the special candids! We requested a second photographer and a videographer as well; the entire crew was very professional and skilled & worked well together. He was very detailed in gathering information about the specific kinds of shots we wanted, and it was a relatively high bar given that my wife’s dad is a wedding photographer by trade. Toby did not disappoint, and had good chemistry with our family and guests, even connecting with Dad in the process. We're very thankful to have chosen Toby and his team to capture our special day!

He is a super sweet and fun person to work with and we highly recommend him! His photos are my vibe and we love them so much! I wished we booked him for our engagement photos, because I’ve seen his engagement photos for other couples and they look amazing! I love telling the messy, beautiful stories of life and each person’s own unique experience being human. I'm a people-person to my core and I thrive on creating a space where you can feel free to be your incredible self. I want us to know each other as real people, not just as commitments on each other’s calendars. Let's be friends and make photos that are lovely and messy and true. This is an inclusive, anti-racist space for all humans, all love, and all body-types. You, your love, and your story are welcome here. Come as you are.

I was raised in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California. I was drawn to photography in middle school and would enter photos of our family pets or family backpacking trips in our local county fair. My passion for photography grew while working as a hiking guide in Yosemite National Park. I mean… who wouldn’t want a stunning photo of Half Dome? El Capitan? Yosemite Falls? I graduated from University of California Davis with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Technology Management. In my free time I like to hike, travel, and watch Friends and The Office. You will most likely find me stuffing my face with either Indian or Thai food.

Awarded Best of Zola
She is so fun to shoot with and makes you feel so comfortable even if you have never taken professional photos before. My fiancé (now husband) and I had so much fun during our session! Every time I have shot with Katie I am over the moon when I get the photos back, she does an incredible job and has such a unique eye!! We have shot with her multiple times and had her shoot at our wedding, I can’t recommend her enough!

Hey there! I'm Linda. San Diego wedding and portrait photographer. I've been photographing weddings for 5 years and have loved every minute of it. I'd love to chat with you and share how I can help you get the best possible images on your special day while giving you a great experience.

Awarded Best of Zola
I found Linda when I Googled "San Diego Courthouse Weddings". An article came up on why you should have a courthouse wedding, featuring some very simple yet amazing photos Linda captured of a Courthouse Wedding. I contacted her and she called me back the same day. She was inquisitive and asked me what I liked about that shoot and took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for. She strives for excellence and wants nothing more but to delight her clients. She became my mini Wedding planner by offering recommendations for services I needed. I asked her for these referrals and we went with the officiant and videographer she recommended. She provided several recommendations and I needed all the help I could get. She was like a sister and didn't make it about the money. Although, she is worth every dollar and more. She made sure to ask me to make a list of all the group photos I wanted, she didn't want to miss one photo opportunity that was important to me. She is so dedicated and visited our wedding site venue, prior to our wedding date, to assess for the best locations on the grounds and lighting during the time our wedding would take place so she could capture the best portraits. On the day of the wedding, she was of course early and checked in with me at the Bridal Suite to say hello and let me know she was there. After the shoot, she checked in with me, sent the previews before the time she promised and made sure I was completely satisfied. We are extremely happy with our photos and so thankful she was part of our special day.
