Award-winning Scottish harpist Elinor Nicholson graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a first class honours degree in 2014. She then went on to complete a Masters in Music with distinction in 2016. During her studies, Elinor won the prestigious RNCM Concerto Competition which resulted in a performance of Debussy’s ‘Danses’ for harp and string orchestra at the 2017 RNCM String Festival. Elinor was twice a finalist in the RNCM Gold Medal competition- the highest accolade for performance offered by the college.

Husband and wife duo, The Poor Cousins, combine intimate, nourishing songs and gutsy tunes in an easy-going style. On fiddle, Naomi finds sounds both fiery and flowing, blending seamlessly with Emmet's rhythmic and elegant guitar back-up. My love of music started in the back seat of my dads car as he took me to daycare, with Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin On" on repeat. My love of music spans generations, cultures and genres, and has taken me all over the world, from England, Spain, St. Marteen, and Austria. As for me, I am a Brooklyn native, who during the pandemic was able leave corporate career to pursue my passion of music. My perspective, is to include and create, safe spaces for guests to feel young, and carefree - even if for a few moments.
