I’m Megan Thompson, and I am the gal behind the camera at Meganography! I’ve always had a passion for photography, ever since I was a wee little one! When I was approx. 4 years old, my Grandma would let me use her camera to take pictures of my dolls (lol)! I've owned Meganography since 2016, and I've been photographing love since 2017. As you can tell, I LOVE to travel! Please ask about my "wedding bucket list location" list, occasionally I offer discounts in those locations. I also am in love with any and all cats of the world, sunshine, wearing sweatpants/leggings, and Starbucks pink drinks! My goal is to capture your love in every image.

I'm a professional photographer based in Missouri. I'm also an avid ice cream lover, a talk-your-ears-off extrovert, and a never-sit-still type of person who always has my bags packed and ready for the next adventure. We are a husband and wife team, we specialize in combining photography and video into one amazing story-telling experience your family and friends will love. A little about us, we've been blessed with to cover well over 500 weddings with amazing local clients including a Hallmark CFO, Miss Kansas, and the Kansas City Chiefs several times. We also love to travel locally and internationally and cover destination events several times each year.

I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day. It was then that I fell in love with the concept of love and knew what I wanted to do. I went on to film photography in high school and digital photography in college. After college I started a job as a party coordinator. I did this for years. Then, on blind faith started my own journey into the world of photography and wedding planning!
