Owner and lead designer Christopher Skerritt has a life long love for plants & flowers. He has spent most of his time being surrounded by the natural beauty of flowers and has based his career around his passion. After several years of working with a few prestigious florists in the Northeast, he decided to open his own floral design studio in 2018. It is his pleasure to create one of a kind, custom floral designs for each of his couples and bring their wedding dreams into reality.

At CMD, we are a boutique design studio specializing in floral & event design in Portland & throughout New England. At CMD, we are floral designers, so we help with overall event and table design. To help make this process easier (and funner!), we have a built a large rental inventory that includes candles, custom arbors, votive holders and beyond!

Petals Farm & Garden Design is a small flower farm that grows, harvests, and curates flowers for you. Our passion for growing flowers is why we love showing off these blooms on your special day. The Harpswell Garden Club fosters a love of gardening through informative programs for its members and guests. We also share gardening experiences, create public garden spaces, and explore the interrelatedness of our gardens and the natural world. Harpswell Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club Federation of Maine, the New England Garden Clubs, Inc, and the National Garden Clubs, Inc. Our club is also a partner in Harpswell Invasive Plant Partnership.

FIELD is a floral and event design studio based in Portland, Maine. We create stunning florals for weddings and special events that integrate beautifully with season and location. Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.
