Briarwood Flowers

5.0

Spring Green, WI
  • Starts at $2,500

Briarwood Flowers would love to fill your wedding day with blooms. We are totally crazy about our couples and believe that your wedding day is so important because it kicks off this wild, lifelong adventure called marriage. We source from suppliers around the world but are passionate about sourcing closer to home more and more each year: from our own flower farm and from local growers whenever we can! Briarwood Flowers is here to make wedding floral design the easiest part of planning your day!

The floral arrangements Briarwood Flowers did for our wedding were absolutely a highlight of our day. They were so easy to work with, professional, kind and insanely talented. Delaney has such an artistic eye and clear passion for floral arrangements and truly made my wedding day look magical. In the final month leading to our wedding, I had a last minute idea to do a hanging floral installation, and although it was a first for them, Briarwood Flowers made an absolute showstopper. I got compliments from guests and vendors alike! Briarwood worked with us on our vision, within our budget, and through a postponement. Delaney was gracious and serene through it all- much needed qualities amidst the stress of planning a wedding. We had full confidence in them from the get-go and they managed to blow those high expectations out of the water. 1000% recommend them for any event.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

5.0

Oklahoma City, OK
  • Serves Waterloo, WI

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Overall, it was a great experience working with this company. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and lasted longer than I expected! The customer service was fantastic. We did have an issue with one part of the order- many of the flowers of a particular variety were brown and never opened. We spoke with Natalie and she organized a brand new order to be picked up the next day. Flowers were important to me and I am so glad I was able to have stunning centerpieces, bouquets, and decorations because of their help!

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.8

Lafayette, LA
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Waterloo, WI

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

We literally could not have been happier with our decision to rent from SBB! When I opened the boxes, I was so impressed with how real they looked, felt, and smelled. Everyone was shocked they were fake! Even the candles had a wax feel to them with flickering to mimic a real flame. Renting from SBB also saved us literally thousands of dollars on florals and rentals while still giving us the look we wanted. Additionally, it was so easy to receive and ship them back. Here are the items we rented: 1 Olivia Garden Cut Bridal Bouquet 6 Nina Bridesmaids Bouquets 1 Olivia Garland 1 Nina Garland 2 Nina Large Centerpieces 1 Set of Small Cane Lanterns 1 Set of Medium Cane Lanterns 1 Set of Large Cane Lanterns 3 Nina Dog Collars 2 Sets of Copper Glass Votives 6 Sets of Burnt Copper Candlesticks For our ceremony, I used the Olivia and Nina Garland to decorate our arch then we moved this to the Sweetheart table for our Reception along with several candlesticks and votives. For the reception, we had 2 tables with the Nina Large Centerpiece and several votive candles. 2 Tables had 1 small cane lantern, 1 medium cane lantern, and 1 large cane lantern and we tied the dog collars around the medium size cane lantern to add some florals. Then for 6 of our tables, we repurposed the bridesmaids bouquets in various vases along with several candlesticks and votives.

When I say I am obsessed, I truly mean it. Between working with me to find the perfect color combination, and incorporating the flowers I wanted I was in awe with how they all came out. Plus the personal touch of the word bloom, with the lyrics to our first dance song made not only me tear up, but many of my guests and family were blown away by that piece too. Would HIGHLY recommend and have been recommending to anyone who is looking for another personal touch and beautiful keep sakes

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

For the price of the amount of bud vases I wanted through our florist, I got TRIPLE the amount by using Bloom Culture. They shipped in a nicely packaged box the week of our wedding and I had a team of friends and family to help assemble. She sends instructional videos and guides and it was so easy and saved me HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of dollars. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for beautiful floral for their event but wanting to find a way to not spend the florist costs. Thank you - you helped make my wedding day vision a reality as I could not afford the amount of vases I wanted by going through our florist!

Katie makes the most beautiful handmade paper flowers out of book pages! Her work is thoughtful, whimsical and exactly what I needed for a Harry Potter themed styled shoot. I incorporated her work into a bouquet of real flowers and the results were stunning! Nothing but good things to say :)

Flora Elements

5.0

Delafield, WI
  • Starts at $800
  • Serves Waterloo, WI

I have been in the floral business for over 20 years and seeing a wedding come together and the final photos is still one of my favorite parts of this industry. I also completely geek out on purchasing flowers and learning from my local flower farmers. Being a florist is not a job it's my life's passion and watching the trends circle back has been very entertaining!

Lisa was great to work with! I am a bride who didn’t have a super clear vision for what I wanted but was able to scrap together some things that I liked on a Pinterest board for Lisa to work from. She did such a great job of bringing everything to life and working with a comfortable budget. Shes great about finding seasonal flowers at good deals which kept the cost down. She had worked with our planner, Becky, at something blue planning before so that definitely helped with organizing the logistics!
