An 1890 Victorian Farm House, big red barn, and the Clackamas River make this a special place for your wedding or event. Centrally located in the heart of North Portland, The Baker Building is available to host your wedding, reception and ceremony. This historic building has been thoughtfully updated, keeping many of the original details while adding a modern touch. The building features a second floor ballroom with exposed rafters and hanging café lights, elegant hardwood flooring, and tons of natural light. A large kitchen and serving room is conveniently located just next to the ballroom as well as two private suits for guests. *All tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, surround sound PA system, wireless microphones and overhead projector. *We offer an open vendor policy which means that you may bring in outside caterers and alcohol for no additional fee.

Built in 1852, the house sits on just under three acres and is surrounded by gardens and farm lands. Our gardens consist of heritage roses, perennial beds, and a large lawn with mature trees. Also included in the village is the Pioneer Mothers Memorial Cabin, an 1850’s one room schoolhouse and the historic Butteville Jail. The grounds of the complex make a charming backdrop for weddings providing a wonderful step back in time.
