We wanted a wedding that felt like a fairytale, full of magic moments. But we were unsure if we could find someone who could capture that on photo and video. Aladdin Films made it real for us. They got all the nice details, like the soft lights in the evening and the joyful laughter outside. Everything that made our day special, from the flowers in the center of the aisle at the ceremony, to the smiles of my parents during my brother's speech. They've captured them all. When I showed the video to my parents and friends, my parents cried, my friends cried, I cried, because of how incredible the video captured our special day. It felt like all that happened moments ago, and I'm sure it will give the same feeling for years to come! ;) Aladdin Films turned our wedding into a lovely fairytale!

Meet Ellen, a Southern California native and seasoned visual storyteller: I've been photographing events and portraiture since 2017 and specialize in destination weddings and elopements. For me, the best part about being a photographer is getting to witness my client’s once in a lifetime memories being created and knowing that my work will allow future generations to experience those memories as well. I take on all types of creative photo shoots when I'm not shooting weddings.

Awarded Best of Zola
Ellen captured memories I’ll cherish forever. Her vision for our wedding and couples photos was amazing. Working with her was extremely comfortable and she valued our input while still directing the shoot. She captured both staged and candid memories in a beautiful way. I would recommend Ellen to any of my friends and family. I hope to book her in the future for maternity and family photos.

Randall de Leon Photography

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $2,000

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.

Randall was amazing to work with for both our Engagement shoot and our Wedding Day! From our first meeting him he was very easy to work with and we knew we would get along with him. We wanted to make sure we would feel comfortable especially when we are taking such important pictures that we will always look back at. He is very easy going, but also very professional and organized. He was very helpful on our wedding day in coordinating the order and best locations for our wedding pictures. We had specific requests regarding our pictures and he was able to accommodate everything we asked smoothly on our wedding day. We chose him based off the pictures we’ve seen on his Instagram and he exceeded our expectations with great communication and of course wonderful pictures! We look forward to working with him again for future milestone events! - Brandon and Ishmene

Adam Griffin Photo

5.0

West Hollywood, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $5,000

I’m Adam—a Boston native who’s now roaming around California photographing everything I see. When I’m not behind the camera you can usually find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, sipping a dirty martini with friends, jamming to Taylor Swift in the car, or taking my rescue pup Ollie to the park or on long neighborhood walks. I got my first film camera when I was 8, and it was love at first sight. Capturing your story is more than just a job for me. From destination elopements to parties of the century, I've seen it all and love every minute of a wedding day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring Adam was far and away the best decision we made. He was always available in the months leading up to our wedding to answer questions, he showed up early on our wedding day to introduce himself to my parents and bridesmaids before he even started working, and throughout the day all of my guests kept coming up to say how much fun he was to be around. And on top of a memorable wedding day, he somehow got us previews the VERY next day as we were leaving for the airport and we spent the whole flight tearing up at all the beautiful moments he caught when we weren't even looking. I can't thank you enough Adam for making us feel so special on our day!

Marijo captured our special day perfectly. She had a perfect outdoor location nearby our ceremony location to take photos prior to the ceremony. She utilized the natural beauty of the outdoors and placed us perfectly to capture the most stunning photos we've ever had taken of us before. Marijo was professional and down to earth; a dream to work with on a very stressful and exciting day. We highly recommend A+M Badillo Images services.

If you are reading this right now, you should go ahead and book Carmen already for your big day! ;) You absolutely won't regret it!! My husband and I knew we wanted to book Carmen early on in our wedding planning process - in fact, she was the first vendor we booked. After we picked a venue, we worked with Carmen's schedule since we knew 1000% that we wanted to have her document our big day. From the beginning Carmen was super friendly and communicative with quick responses throughout the week (usually on weekends she is likely at a wedding). She was also very organized and had questionnaires to help us get to know each other better on a more personal level so we wouldn't feel like strangers on the big day. We went with one of her packages which included an engagement session (which was super fun and matched what we were envisioning - a "naturey" theme with mountains/hills in the background), a second shooter (who was super amazing!), an heirloom album (which we are currently working with her on), and more! The engagement session was extremely helpful for us because we were slightly nervous before the shoot, but the more time we spent with her, the more relaxed and at ease we felt (which is saying a lot because my husband and I are both introverts). We liked that Carmen could help us naturally pose and that her editing style was not too overly edited but allowed the natural beauty in each shot to shine. We also really appreciated Carmen's flexibility - my husband and I are both healthcare workers who have varying schedules and sometimes work weekends, but she was able to still plan our engagement session and our Zoom calls around our busy schedules. After the big day, when we look back on our wedding day, one thing that really stood out was how many of our guests were amazed with Carmen and her second shooter; the small details Carmen noticed made a lasting impression on a lot of our family members such as when Carmen and her second shooter would hold onto our guests' purses or sunglasses and make sure everyone looked essentially before taking photos. My mother-in-law couldn't stop raving about Carmen and how attentive she was to each guest. We also enjoyed all the photos of the wedding venue, each of our guests, and small moments and details that my husband and I might not have noticed since we were all over the place on the day of our wedding. At the end of the day, while all the food and drinks have been consumed, the music has been played, and the decorations and flowers have been set up and taken down, the only thing we have to reminisce on is the photography and documentation of our special day, and that's why we trusted Carmen to be our wedding photographer and would recommend her a thousand percent to all our friends and family.

I’m Mysi (pronounced, boringly, “Missy”)! I’ve been at this thing for 12 years and I keep falling more and more in love with it all. Give me intimate micro-weddings, quirky dive bar weddings, raucous South Asian weddings... my team and I absolutely thrive in chaos and emotion. My specialty is catching the moments and those tiny moments in between. ✨✨✨

Awarded Best of Zola
I have nothing but nice things to say about Mysi. From start to finish she was/is SO kind and professional and I truly felt like we were in the best and most capable hands for what can be such a high-stress process. Communications were seamless, and she never made me and my partner feel less-than for avoiding a bunch of traditions and certain types of the usual photos. She was the most calming presence on our wedding day and managed to capture so many absolutely stunning candid moments like a fly on the wall, but also delivered portraits that are true works of art. She even got us our photos way ahead of when we expected them! I could go on forever, she's great and I'm convinced there's nothing she can't do!

Stephen Tang Photo

5.0

Pasadena, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $4,100

While some photographers emphasize their gear or trendy post-processing, I take pride in subject-photographer interaction - the relation I build with clients, picking up on nuances in pose and expression while we shoot, anticipating the viewers' response - because ultimately, that's how photographs that matter to us are created. I'm a native New Yorker who found myself relocating to Los Angeles and making it my home. Wherever you'd like to have your wedding, it would be my pleasure to be your photographer.

Awarded Best of Zola
It was a delight to work with Stephen for our wedding. We couldn’t be happier with the photos from both our Hindu ceremony as well as our western wedding. He was flexible enough to work beyond the original number of hours on a hot Malibu day for our Hindu wedding. He sourced a great second photographer to cover all the moments in our western wedding. The pictures are mesmerizing. He really listened to what we wanted and lent his talent to provide us with terrific and special images. He captured so many candid pictures of our family and friends and it has given us a lot of joy to look at them. Stephen was professional, considerate and wonderful to work with. And his pictures show that he is a true artist! Look forward to working with him again!

Xenia was the primary wedding photographer for our wedding last year at the the William Vale hotel. We had photo-session both outside and inside, with me changing outfits twice. I couldn’t wish of better pictures as they were literally amazing, ideal and perfect version of me, my husband and us as a couple. Very lucky to had her as a photographer for such an important event for our family, we have got a lifetime amazing memory, thanks to Xenia.
