Since a very young age I have found happiness in creative activities, and photography is no exception. During high school, I studied Art and Design and learned about composition and color. A friend asked me to join her in an after-school photography class, so I grabbed an old film SLR and learned the process of taking and developing my own photographs using a darkroom. Photography quickly became my favorite medium.

The only thing better than making memories, is reliving them. I love photography for so many reasons but the opportunity to freeze a moment in time and cherish that memory forever is reason number one. One reason I love wedding photography specifically is how it incorporates all my photographic passions into one day! Landscapes, street photography, documentary, portrait, macro...I could keep going. I love photography and hope my passion for my work shines through in your final gallery.

I have loved photography ever since you used to have to take a whole digital camera with you when you'd go to hang out with friends and upload 100 pictures to Facebook (Anyone over 30 knows what I'm talking about). I married my now business partner and best friend of twelve years on a warm summer evening in August beneath two immense magnolia trees. We currently spend our time between an old farmhouse in the heart of wine and hunt country and Lake Norman with our dog Endo, two cats and two horses.

I've found a new meaning when it comes to capturing photos. It use to be capturing the perfect photo and getting a bunch of recognition on social media and getting featured on a wedding blog.
