Meet Ellen, a Southern California native and seasoned visual storyteller: I've been photographing events and portraiture since 2017 and specialize in destination weddings and elopements. I take on all types of creative photo shoots when I'm not shooting weddings.

From engagement to wedding, Ellen listened to our vision and made it a reality! She was patient, kind and most importantly understood our story and personalities. Can’t wait for more life moments to be captured by Ellen!

Danielle Bennink Photography

Glendora, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,500

A true artist at heart, Danielle has spent over twenty-five years behind a camera. For over a decade she has specialized in recording couples and families in some of their most joyous moments. Utilizing both digital and film, she documents not only the major moments, but the minor moments, too, that sometimes go amiss: the grandmother gazing fondly at the new generation. The proud tearful eyes of a parent watching as their child embarks on an exciting new chapter. Big or small, with her trained eye Danielle captures every brushstroke to fully realize the memory of your special day.

You will not regret having Danielle capture your special day. She has photographed at least 2 weddings in my family - and we always trust Danielle and her photographic genius capture our most important moments.

Aladdin Films is a way to go! Their level of service was nothing short of perfection. Meetings, phone calls, contracts, and payments were all handled with lightning speed and efficiency, leaving us with nothing to worry about. From the very first call meeting, we felt that they could read our minds, it was a strange and at the same time relieving feeling. We were 100% certain they knew what they were talking about. And after looking at their previous jobs, all of our concerns faded away. The result was shocking, I’d never imagined that I could be like one of those celebrities on the cover of GC. Pure magic. On the actual wedding day, the videographer took us outside for about 10 to 15 minutes or so, so he could get some footage of us acting… We are not actors. Not even close. But on the actual video, we looked so flawless, so natural, it is amazing. They are creating masterpieces out there, and we’re so glad that we chose them. Highly recommend!

Randall de Leon Photography

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $2,000

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.

Randall and I have worked on a couple projects together and each time we work together he just gets better and better. He's extremely professional, patient and has a great vision when capturing photos. He always makes the clients feel comfortable while getting the perfect shot. A pleasure to work with and not hesitate for a second to work with again.

Adam Griffin Photo

5.0

West Hollywood, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $5,000

I’m Adam—a Boston native who’s now roaming around California photographing everything I see. When I’m not behind the camera you can usually find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, sipping a dirty martini with friends, jamming to Taylor Swift in the car, or taking my rescue pup Ollie to the park or on long neighborhood walks. I got my first film camera when I was 8, and it was love at first sight. Capturing your story is more than just a job for me. From destination elopements to parties of the century, I've seen it all and love every minute of a wedding day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Booking Adam was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process, and would highly recommend to any and all couples planning a wedding or event. Prior to the wedding day, Adam always made himself available for questions, calls, and even a venue walk so he could better understand the space and our preferences. Adam was extremely engaged during this venue walk through, asking questions to both us and the venue coordinator, providing feedback and context that we hadn’t considered. We booked Adam’s 8 hour package, which was the perfect amount of time for getting ready photos, first look, ceremony, and even a bit of dancing. Adam made us feel comfortable and confident, and was so organized in the chaos of taking our very large extended family photos. He promptly turned around dozens of “sneak-peak” photos the following day, and they could not have turned out better. From every step in the process, Adam’s thoughtfulness and experience shined through, and resulted in the most AMAZING photographs that captured the joy of our special day. We cherish every memory that Adam captured and would book him 100 times over again.

We’re Andrew and Marijo (pronounced mary•joe), a husband and wife team! Our style is bright, vibrant, nostalgic with a mix of candids and cinematic images. We love getting to know our couples before their big day! It helps us create more personal work that reflects your love. We hope you know that your love is special, and that we can see that it is. And that’s always how we’ll tell your story.

Awarded Best of Zola
A+MBadillo was recommended to me by a family member who also hired them. They have the most beautiful portfolio!! Hired Marijo and Andrew for my wedding and both our engagement and wedding photos came out sooo beautiful! They are incredibly easygoing and made our photoshoots comfortable and fun, which was important as this was my and my DH first time getting our photos taken. Had multiple guests at our wedding reaching out to us afterward to ask about them as our photos came out amazing. There were a few things that were stressful about planning our wedding but A+M was not one of them, for sure the best decision we made aside from saying “I do!” Forever grateful for this team!

Carmelisse Photography

5.0

Long Beach, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,550

Hi I'm Carmelisse. I'm an intimate wedding & elopement photographer based in Los Angeles. I have a gift for making people comfortable and seeing the beauty in all diverse people. I want nothing more than to tell your love story right.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are SO happy with Carmelisse and her whole team. Ever since we got engaged, we already knew we wanted her as our photographer for our engagement photos and wedding. She is so easy to work with and very communicative throughout our whole planning process. She was especially easy to work with as we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. She was flexible, understanding and compassionate during the challenging time. My husband and I are shy in front of the camera and slightly awkward, but Carmelisse knew how to make us feel comfortable and look natural in photos. She really understands how to capture authentic shots that don't look staged or posed. She was so amazing on our actual wedding day, her team was so well prepared and eased all my nerves. She is as an actual dream to work with and we received our teasers only a few days later when we got to our honeymoon! I cannot rave enough about how happy with how our photos turned out and the whole experience working with Carmelisse.

Soda Fountain Photo

Los Angeles, CA

I’m Mysi (pronounced, boringly, “Missy”)! I’ve been at this thing for 12 years and I keep falling more and more in love with it all. Give me intimate micro-weddings, quirky dive bar weddings, raucous South Asian weddings... my team and I absolutely thrive in chaos and emotion. My specialty is catching the moments and those tiny moments in between. ✨✨✨

Awarded Best of Zola
One of the most important parts of any special event (from weddings to fundraisers) is making sure you capture the spirit of the event. Mysi has photographed our annual Story Soirée multiple times and every time her photos have left me grinning from ear to ear. They are just so so so good! Not only are the action shots of our tellers (we are a storytelling nonprofit) wonderful, but the photos of folks reacting to our stories are my favorite. She is exceptionally skilled at capturing a range of emotions in a single photo and we have then used these photos in every marketing material imaginable. Mysi also photographed my wedding at City Hall! She got so many wonderful photos of our families crammed into the small courtroom and somehow made even the drab beige walls feel magical. It is also important for me to note that Mysi herself is an absolute dream to work with. She is communicative, punctual, and an utter delight. I sincerely cannot recommend her highly enough.

Stephen Tang Photo

5.0

Pasadena, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $4,100

While some photographers emphasize their gear or trendy post-processing, I take pride in subject-photographer interaction - the relation I build with clients, picking up on nuances in pose and expression while we shoot, anticipating the viewers' response - because ultimately, that's how photographs that matter to us are created. I'm a native New Yorker who found myself relocating to Los Angeles and making it my home. Wherever you'd like to have your wedding, it would be my pleasure to be your photographer.

Awarded Best of Zola
Stephen was more than a photographer, he basically helped me plan my elopement. He talked me through the pros and cons of various locations, and helped me think through the process of obtaining a license for photography. He took time to understand that we were striving for a simple, but intimate wedding; he was patient with our cranky 2 year old; and endlessly gracious with our elderly parents who were along for the ride. Importantly, my husband and I are terrible at being photographed (we are awkward) and Stephen made us feel at ease with our surroundings. I would hire Stephen again in a heartbeat.

Xenia Park Photography

Xenia Park is a photography and videography company based in Los Angeles. Every couple, with their distinctive love story, transforms into a canvas where we paint with the play of light and shadow. It extends beyond the grandeur of photographing pivotal moments like vows, rings, and the first dance; it encompasses the art of capturing nuanced glances, shared laughter, and the silent connection that elevates an ordinary day into an extraordinary celebration of love. Published in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Tatler.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had the pleasure of working with the talented Xenia for our multiple wedding ceremonies, and her outstanding photography skills, coupled with her outgoing and sweet personality, made our experience truly remarkable. From the moment we met Xenia, her warmth and friendliness put us at ease, making the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. Her ability to connect with us and our guests created a comfortable atmosphere, allowing her to capture genuine moments effortlessly. One of the standout aspects of Xenia's work was her adaptability. We had multiple wedding ceremonies with different themes, and she delivered exceptional results each time. Even when faced with unexpected challenges, such as her absence during one ceremony, Xenia went above and beyond to ensure that our memories were beautifully captured. During the ceremony where Xenia couldn't be present, we initially felt a bit disappointed about not receiving as many photos of just us as we had hoped. However, Xenia, showcasing her dedication and professionalism, took the initiative to make up for it. She suggested an alternate location that added an extra touch of glamour to our shots. This attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile truly set Xenia apart. Her creativity and ability to turn an unforeseen situation into an opportunity resulted in breathtaking images that exceeded our expectations. The alternate location she chose not only showcased her artistic eye but also demonstrated her commitment to ensuring that we had a diverse and stunning collection of photos. In addition to her exceptional photography skills, Xenia's communication and organizational skills were top-notch. She kept us informed throughout the entire process, ensuring that we felt comfortable and confident in her abilities. Working with Xenia was an absolute pleasure, and we are incredibly grateful for the beautiful memories she captured on our special day. If you're looking for a photographer who not only delivers stunning images but also brings a positive and enthusiastic energy to your wedding, Xenia is the perfect choice. Thank you, Xenia, for making our wedding day even more magical with your incredible talent and genuine personality.

Gabbie Burseth Photo

5.0

Santa Monica, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,000

My name is Gabbie, and I'm a wedding photographer for the couples who seek a non-traditional approach to their big day. I'm a sucker for a candid moment, intimate ceremonies, and black-and-white images from the 1980s. My work is photojournalistic — I approach weddings through a documentary lens, telling the truth with beautiful and timeless imagery.

Awarded Best of Zola
For our wedding experience, my husband and I were looking for a photographer that specialized in candids— someone who was focused on capturing natural moments versus the formal, posed ones. Gabbie delivered. She photographed our at-home engagement session, our typhoon-ridden wedding day, and threw in a post-wedding session for free due to circumstances out of our control on the wedding day. Our venue was not prepared for the day to be rained out, so there was minor chaos that I learned of after the fact. Gabbie and her second shooter never let on to any mishaps or miscommunications on the venue’s behalf and fought through the absolute freezing rain with us all day. We deeply cherish all of the photos she took… from us dancing together in the kitchen of our first home, to us bundled up under an umbrella, kissing in the rain after the ceremony, to priceless images of our friends and family breaking it down on the dance floor at the reception, and to the bridal portraits she took of us months after the wedding when she wasn’t satisfied with what we were able to get on the actual wedding day. We have nothing but great things to say about Gabbie and would highly recommend!
