Freedom Farms is a unique venue for our area! We are a 5th generation working farm and started hosting weddings in 2014. We have developed a passion to work with brides to perfect their day! Our devoted team has so much to offer each bride that not many other venues have. For instance we offer tractor rides to our ceremony areas and offer farm to table catering! These certain features make us one of a kind and we want to share that with you and your guests. With two ceremony locations, one by a pristine pond and an event center to design as you like, we welcome both intimate and elaborate weddings alike! *Please note our wedding season runs May through September.

The Barrel House specializes in small-batch barrel aged beers alongside staple Attaboy Beers, Hard Cider and Hard Seltzer. Nestled on 300+ acres, our venue provides breath taking views of the surrounding hillsides. Featuring a large open floor plan with cathedral ceilings, gorgeous natural light, both a bride and groom suites & eye-catching elements. Also, located on the property is a formal outside ceremony space featuring a beautiful stone walkway, patio & pergola. This outside ceremony space overlooks vast farm land and rolling forest. Our open vendor policy allows for the renter to customize the decor, menu, and entertainment as they see best fit. Tables and chairs are included for both outside ceremony and inside for dinner/reception.

Our distillery is housed in a 1906 carriage house built of Pennsylvania hardwood and steel. In 2019, we won a Pennsylvania Historic Preservation award for its striking, natural charm and our attention to authentic detail. The lounge, loft, bar and apothecary are unforgettable settings for special events, weddings, celebrations, and much more!

The Yellow House is a historic farmhouse built in 1857 that sits on 120 acres of farmland. The house is a regional favorite when our field of sunflowers blooms in late August and early September. Guests can utilize the interior of the farmhouse as well as the expansive grounds.

The original 1800s bank barn sits on a once 20 acre horse farm. The weathered wood beams tell of its history, and its worn wood adorns the space in a beautifully neutral palette. The century-old barn is rooted to overlook a sea of golden fields in Carroll County, Maryland. The barn, orchard, bridal suite, and groom's quarters provide an effortless setting for weddings and events. The venue's exposed structure and lofty ceilings establish an airy ambiance, while its expansive doors allow for soft, natural light and a seamless transition to the paver terrace and large deck. Facing into beautiful, tree lined sunsets, and pond views, Montagu Meadows is the perfect spot to celebrate any extraordinary event. Named after Montagu Hankin, a WW II veteran.
