Growing up, my Mom taught me the importance of capturing every moment possible. She always had her disposable camera at the ready for birthday parties, graduations, holiday get-togethers, & more. I remember getting SO excited when the photos were finally developed! To this day, we look back at those photos & still feel the emotions, hear the laughs, & feel the warm embrace of loved ones who are no longer with us. Capturing these memories means everything to me because you're not just receiving a photo... You're capturing memories that will last lifetimes.

I am a fine art photographer living in the United States. I am currently based in Florida and have a studio in Tampa, FL. I was born in Cuba but moved to Orlando with my large family in '97. I started my photography in 2015 but have been involved with being on both sides of the lens and learning photography since 2011. Our name is unique too, and can easily be confused with other famous likeness such as “Gawne with the Wind”, “Gawne in 60 seconds”, or “Gawne Girl”. And there is really no simpler (or more complex) way to say it: we love LOVE. We love and honor self-expression and truth, and we fight, stand, and are allies for inclusivity and equality. We not only want to know your pronouns, but we’ll use them. We see the different colors and shapes and configurations that love comes in, and we are here to capture every single moment of it.

I'm Megan, a fine art wedding photographer serving New England & the Pacific Northwest. I've been photographing weddings since 2015, and I still tear up during just about every wedding ceremony. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm running after my one year old daughter, renovating our 1932 colonial home, and adding to my continually growing collection of cookbooks.
