My husband and I took our first vacation to Whitefish and absolutely fell in love with Montana on that trip. When we got engaged and started planning our wedding we had family & friends flying from all over that we thought we'd do it there to show them the beautiful state. We came out to visit venues in Whitefish & Bozeman and found a couple that we liked but nothing that we LOVED. I stumbled across The Woodlands when we were back home, we did a virtual tour with Elsa and immediately booked it sight unseen until the week of the wedding. When we finally saw it in person we were stunned at how much more beautiful it was in person. The drive in from downtown is absolutely gorgeous, you pull up to the venue and you're surrounded by trees. The Greatroom where we had our reception was meticulously maintained and updated, the dressing rooms were adorable and so spacious for all of the bridal party, everything just really made sense. Elsa & Jaslin were great to work with, I think Meaghan was our day of manager who was amazing and easy to work with. Everything just flowed so well. Great vendors really make a great wedding and you will not go wrong booking the Woodlands, and take it from us you can even do it sight unseen and be stoked. All of our guests voted our wedding one of the best, with a venue that was unlike any other they've been to. Thank you for everything!

Trail Creek Ranch

5.0

Wilson, WY
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $2,500

You create exactly what you envision! There are several sites for both the ceremony and the reception to choose from on Trail Creek Ranch. Beautiful scenery all around with views of the Gros Ventre Mountain Range. Our historic barn sets the scene beautifully and many use it as a backdrop for a ceremony or cocktail party. The bride and groom have access to the amazing loft for pictures unlike any others. We can help with choosing all the right vendors, but you have flexibility to use whomever you choose. There is no other place like Trail Creek Ranch. An authentic western working guest ranch. And there are accommodations for 20 guests of your choosing.

Alex and Mike made our wedding weekend more amazing than we ever could have imagined. They were so easy to work with and so accommodating. The ranch is, without a doubt, one of the most magical places but Alex and Mike's welcome demeanor makes the whole experience that much better. We cannot wait to spend all our anniversaries sipping coffee on the deck of the cabins while staring into the field and trees where we wed. This place will always hold such a special place in our hearts.
