My love of music and travel initially took me to Nashville, where I studied under some of the best celebrity and music photographers in the business. The City of Music lead me to tour with Jesse McCartney and shoot some amazing musicians including Blake Shelton, Outkast, and the Backstreet Boys (a personal childhood dream of mine). However, the mountains were calling (as they say), and I ended up moving back to Colorado, my home state, in 2015 to begin my journey documenting love in all its forms!

My niche is utilizing natural light and capturing Mother Nature's natural beauty. My passion for photography and weddings began when I was very young. I staged Barbie weddings, making their dresses from Kleenex, then snuck Mom’s camera to take pictures of them. I moved on to dressing up my little sister in a pillowcase veil, again sneaking Mom’s camera. When she got tired of me using up all her film, she brought home several Bride magazines from the free pile at the library and I spent hours reading them, then pinning pages of beautiful wedding dresses on the ceiling of my bedroom. My experience is unique. I grew up with my white family very cognizant of inequality that existed in the world and the importance of experiencing the outdoors. But there was still much they could never understand. My grandfather, Cherokee, Black, + Blackfeet, would always bring me into the garden with him. I learned how to appreciate our connection to the Earth, the ancient connection our people have, and how that connection had been broken, being stripped from their land. My name is Trin, I'm a photographer + traveler. I'm incredibly passionate about helping the community of color restore their connection the outdoors through photography.
