Green Acres is an award winning Wedding & Event Venue conveniently located just 15 minutes southwest of Minneapolis. This lovingly restored historic barn is turnkey with all the modern amenities that include heat, air conditioning, handicap accessible elevator, surround sound, AV, wireless microphone, and theatrical lighting inside and out. Rain or shine, we can accommodate an indoor or outdoor ceremony and a seated reception indoors for up to 225 guests all year round. We have a lovely brick patio, outdoor lounge seating, a s'mores cauldron and a four sided fire pit for those perfect Minnesota evenings. Inside the barn, we have two levels: one for your cocktail/social hour and our upper/main level where the party happens! Green Acres is rustic elegance with stunning chandeliers, soaring Gothic Arch roof of aged timbers, and charming decor. Everything is wheelchair accessible because no one should miss out on the fun!

We have a very unique venue. It's an actual studio apartment that has been converted into a venue for intimate and small gatherings. We host a variety of events like micro weddings, showers, birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, dinners, networking events, fashion shows, photoshoots, and experiences. The Sinclair on Grand is Northeast Minneapolis Gem. Tucked back it offers a private setting near the heart of the city. Built in 1905, this building is located in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis. This event space has a great industrial vibe with some beautiful rustic elements added in to make this a perfect space to hold all types of celebrations! We offer a very raw industrial space with massive beams and high ceilings. With an outdoor ceremony space and patio, you are able to have your city wedding with a secluded feel. The Hollywood Theater is an iconic Art Deco landmark in Northeast Minneapolis. When it opened in 1936, the theater was described as “the incomparable showcase of the Northwest’’. After years of decline, the theater closed in 1987 and was purchased by the city of Minneapolis. Twenty-five years of inaction and neglect followed until 2014 when the National Park Service recognized the building’s historical significance and listed it on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2015 the theater was sold to Northeast-resident and entrepreneur Andrew Volna, who saved the building and restored its original Art Deco splendor. Today it is ready to host your event.

Featured among its 180 park properties are 55 miles parkways, 102 miles of Grand Rounds biking and walking paths, 22 lakes, 12 formal gardens, seven golf courses and 49 recreation centers. Altogether, MPRB properties receive about 26 million visits annually. MPRB was recognized by the Trust for Public Land in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 as the #1 urban park system in the United States. Lyndale Park Gardens encompass the Peace Garden, Rose Garden, Annual & Perennial Garden, and a Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden. The Peace Garden features hardy alpine plants and dwarf conifers and begins blooming in mid-April. The Annual/Perennial peaks in mid-June and the Rose Garden typically begins blooming in mid-June and lasts until early October. Butterflies and hummingbirds can be seen throughout the summer.

The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is better than ever! This crown jewel of the city’s park system unites two of Minnesota’s most cherished resources—its parks and its cultural life.
